DAVID PRICE Vs TONY THOMPSON

Well that is the end of Price...........
What a shocking performance !! That was an embarresment, a complete embaressment. I have never seen a professional boxer look so bad in all my life. Price was hopeless, absolutely hopeless. No strategy, no fitness, no defence, no movement, no jab at all, couldn't put combinations together. I thought he looked awfull from the start. He threw a decent shot and put Thompson down in the second, but then got involved in a slugfest. He didn't even look like a boxer tonight, he looked like a frightened rabbit that had forgotten how to box. Decent heart and courage etc, but that was just awful. He ought to retire tonight, because Thompson was there for the taking. On that showing, Price wouldn't last three rounds with Fury or Chisora, never mind Haye or a Klitschko. Price has been found out big time tonight.

I've never been convinced with Price, he has good power but he is so stiff and burns up very quickly, Thompson is a good old pro and really has exposed him tonight.
What are your guys thoughts ? We're can price go ? I don't think he's even European level

Price needs to rebuild confidence, that is what really ruined him, the first fight ruined him in that respect.

He lost because he was crap. After the ridicule Mrpedigree got for saying Price was useless he is more than justified having a gloat.

Just a bad fight to take, TT is all wrong for Price, in that he's smart and has a good chin. Not many heavies would have survived that knock down - and a lot of ref's might have counted him out....thankfully the ref did the right thing - I was worried we'd get an early home town stoppage.
Price can get a couple of confidence builders, build his stamina, and then land a big right hand and flatten someone like Tyson Fury.

People need to relax.
Price used piss poor tactics, nullifying his advantages.
Price is too tense.
Take a look at the body language between the two fighters.
Price is stiff. Nervousness steals energy.
Also, and not bad mouthing the Brit fight scene, but some of the domestic heavyweights he's fought are rubbish.
Price needed to fight somebody below Thompson.
The leap from the domestic palookas to Thompson was too great.

You idiot ...Fury would fcuk price up...fury would wanna kill price where price would wanna survive ...FACT SAP

Is David Price's career over.

It wasn't his chin this time he just ran out of gas. He got a real beatdown in the final round. I think the knockdown in the 2nd was the worst thing for price as he punched himself out.The body shots in the 2nd to last round hurt Price a lot. Does he go back to domestic level or just give it up.
Thompson was priceless at the end " I'm going to break my wifes hip with sex" "can someone donate her a wheelchair" classic

No, but he will need to rebuild. Can he win a World title? Probably not, but if everyone who couldn't win one all retired there wouldn't be many boxers about. There's that much money to be earned boxing at the level Price can win at for him to jack it in.
