Perhaps because this is his first fight with Hennessy. Maybe next time...
However it does look like a good matchup!

You never know there may be highlights on Sunday Grandstand as Steve Bunce appears to have taken residence there talking about football so might be able to influence someone!

Witter is only fighting on a Henessy show cause FW couldnt bid for a second time for the Witter fight. I dont know Witter contract but he should be fighiting again on a FW show in the future, providing FW wins the purse bid

over a year now, Javier Castillejo is still waiting for a light middle crack, hes been waiting for over 2 years now. So dont expect a title shot this year bennie

Yes Hennessy's biggest coup to date was probably getting David Walker his big European title shot at Wembley against Karmazin but apart from that he has delivered very little. Eastman would be better off going elsewhere if you ask me, he is just stagnating under Hennessy as his last fight proved. As for Castillejo he has at least had one crack at the big time when he faced Oscar DLH although that was a while back.

Yeah, he delivered Walker a right pasting. To this day, I can't see the point in that match. Perhaps, someone else can explain the point to me.

I suppose your right, it was painfully obvious to everyone that he was going to get beaten but he had a go and the match was delivered, he can't say he never had his chance. But on the flip side how can a fighter go from defending a southern area belt by the skin of his teeth and bypass British and Commonwealth titles to challenge for the European. Hmm maybe it was bad matchmaking after all :x

Yeah actually your right, basically all the British promoters are pretty bad. FW could easily deliver big fights, but for he's happy milking his cah cows for all the money he can.

I understand what people are saying but I think in the end it comes down to Hopkins being a nightmare to negotiate with. Maybe if they had put Eastman in with someone better known to the Americans we would stand a better chance.

Hatton was number 2 or 3 in the WBC and No 1 with the WBO for a longtime how come the biggest promoter in the UK couldnt secure a world title fight??????????????????????????????????
