Not really. If an Olympic medalist can't beat Boulden he is in trouble.

Really can't understand why Campbell is main event, I don't care what the fvck he did as an amateur or where the fight is, it's a 6 rounder, against a journeyman.

Then there will be a lot of empty seats and look bad on television and an awful lot less taken at the bars. It is all about Luke. 80% wont even know who Brook and Matthews are. Curtis will be the second best known fighter to locals.

It's only his second fight and Boulden is a very live opponent.

It's not just about winning, it's also about looking good, as I said Ogogos team must have confidence in him.

Any news on how tickets have sold for this? I think I read something by Eddie Hearn the other week saying they were hoping for about 6k, don't know if I just imagined this though! Will the ground look a bit empty if it has 'only' 6k in there? Also anyone who lives up that way where are they likely to show future Campbell shows? Is there a reasonable sized arena in the town for fights through the winter months etc?

Its been well promoted and Hull really got behind him in the Olympics and his dancing on ice lark.

The ground only holds 10,000 full. The Hull Ice Arena where Ingle boxed Medina is a good venue.

Someone mentioned to me earlier in the week that 6.5k tickets had been sold, not sure if that is accurate but I would think it's probably about right.

As for future venues, the Hull Arena is a possibility for some of his early fights but we don't have a big arena like Sheffield for any potential big fights down the road.

Quite a few fights pre 8pm that I wud watch. Any red button options or have sky shelved this??

I didn't really peg Ryder as a one punch hitter; do you think he can trouble Saunders?

I am a fan of Ryder to be fair. Uses his southpaw stance well. Sets the left hand up well. I actually think its a 50/50 fight with BJS. It will be cagey at first but could turn into a FOTY. Hope heads don't clash. Saunders will be fav but should be good.
