According to my info, report is incorrect & was yet again drummed-up by certain trainers, who failed to get/retain their hands on some of them.
My understanding from yonks ago, Filipinos (among few others) are initially granted 3-month visa & eligible to apply for further 2x3-month extensions, but need to satisfy Immigration they have sufficient funds to support that...then it's home time. Hence, the guys are inactive from time to time.

I got a few stories, where they were enticed into marriage of convenience, in order to be classed legit resident, but got done & promptly deported.

At times, the game is a crewel World

Damn, the only decent fighter to come outta this stable was Ranee Ganoy.

A few of them had skill, just the wrong team behind them, guys like Junmar Dulog, Ariel Amongos and Dondon Sultan just to name a few off the top of my head.

What about Jun Paderna he wasn't a bad fighter.

Yep he was alright too.

Junmar Dulog was the one that stood out out of the lot(Apart from Ganoy), because i seen him fight live against Lenny Zappa and he floored Lenny early twice, i thought Junmar was going to win, if he had floored Lenny again he would've won, the 3 knock down rule was in effect. I saw him fight Wills also, and was robbed.

I saw most of them fight and if they had of been matched more evenly and not just opponents for the good promoters boy, a few of them could have chalk up a few more wins. Not that any of them were world beaters, but were thrown to the wolves a fair bit.

Well. If helped up right, as with other fightes, then a lot of them would have been world beaters, fox. How can you say this shit when a few actually overcome the odds and won an impossible desicion?

If Ranee Ganoy was in the right hands from the start, he would have been great.

you mean he could have padded his record to get a shot at a title?

he just would have been beaten by a better quality of opposition...

he had 11 fights, 9 wins and 2 draws when he first got beat by a 16-9-2 fighter. he then got beat by a 14-18-4 fighter...

look at his record. he was never thrown to the wolves. he just couldnt step up.

in his most recent fight he won the highly regarded "vacant World Boxing Foundation light welterweight title" against future legend, Jayson Mac Gura, 1-13-2....

The best Filipino to fight in Australia was Arnel Barotillo.

What drugs are you on dickhead? I was being far from critical of those fighters and said if they were matched more evenly they would have had more win. The majority of them were good honest fighters, but far from world beaters. That's my opinion and I haven't seen anyone else say its poo.

He had a hit on him mate. Im not only talking about management, im talking about trainers too. Most of the time Ranee had to train himself. I dont need to see his record, i already know who he has fought, i know the bloke personally. I was also at the Peden and Fatai Onikeke fights where he won both by KO.

Yeah okay sorry about that. Just seemed to me that you said I was talking shit. I just think there could have been some more even matches for them and not the likes of Zappa and St Clair just to name a few.

Nah, mate, my mistake. Trying to type something funny/witty whilest pissed last night came out all wrong, I know you don't talk shite, I hold you in regard as a trainer.

I agree with you about some more even matches for them, some of those guys, if matched well and trained properly from early on could have been great fighters.

I keep picturing Pauly from Fat Pizza saying "what drugs you on dickhead" to me though

Ranee Ganoy fought again last saturday night against Jarkko Jussila 6 (4)- 3, and won by TKO after Jussila retired in the corner. Boxrec still hasn't updated both their profiles. How do you contact the editors? Thanks.
