Tommy Loughran has achieved Unification status by successfully defending the WBA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP three times consecutively. This is how he did it:
Week 11: Defeated Jimmy Bivins by Split Decision.
Week 10: Defeated Dariusz Michalczewski by Split Decision.
Week 09: Defeated Bernard Hopkins by Unanimous Decision.
Week 08: Defeated Gene Tunney by Technical Knockout in round 6. (Won the WBA Title)
Tommy will now be able to unify the WBA Title for every week that he holds it.
