For all his faults Fury is no doubt a fighting man. He does not know anything else, he lives and breathes the fight game. So in answering your question, win or lose, yes he will fight again.

For the record, took much emphasis is put on a loss these days. It's a sport, people lose, people win, it's how you come back from defeat that builds a great sportsman.

Yes I think he will fight again should David Haye spark him out. He is 25 years old so he is still very young for a Heavyweight so there is still plenty of time for him to come around again.

Of course he will. He's young and would still sell tickets even after a loss to Haye, regardless of how dramatic. I'm dead against the whole "If you lose once you might as well retire". Many great boxers become great by ironing out flaws which are identified in defeat.

I strongly fancy a Haye stoppage win but i would be a fool to totally write off Furys chances as he does actually hold a few cards going into this scrap,he,s absolutely massive against Haye whos a natural Cruiserweight,he,s unbeaten,can dig,good engine,plenty heart as he,s shown on more than 1 occasion and he can box to instructions to use his physical advantages which he has also shown,but in saying that Davids been there and done it and i think his experiance going into the fight will be crucial and after a suprisingly competitive bout,Haye will land a hayemaker and Tyson wont get up,not twice anyway


But to answer the question,i dont think Fury would retire for a second should he lose,he,s still a baby in HW terms,nearly in the womb

Admitidley he,s a BIG baby,but in terms of age he,s just a kid(for a HW)

Is it fair to say we keep forgetting how young Wlad is?
People keep calling Fury a baby but Wlad was the WBO champion at a younger age.

Haha! On a serious note I do agree with you. He has plenty of time on his side and will certainly learn a lot regardless of the result in the Haye fight.

Never knew that,Wlad was an Olympic Gold medallist,didnt Fury turn pro at 18 or was it older i forget,i just remember seeing his pro debut on ITV when Mick was in his prime

Tyson was 20 when he turned pro I think? Fair shout on the Wlad comment though!

Of course Fury will fight on.

If he loses to Haye it will simply confirm a few people's opinions that this could be too big a step up, too soon.

Take the money and run, win or lose. There is no shame in losing, take a look at Audley Harrison, he proberly gets more money to lose. Price has 2 losses its not the end of the line for him. Get a few quid its not going to stop the Fury train, A loss to Haye will move him up in the world rankings anyway.

I think he's a potential suicide when Haye makes his whole world come crumbling down in quick time, with ease.

He's ran his mouth more than any heavyweight I can recall, probably since Cassius Clay.
