Kell Brook's mystery opponent - Senchenko ?

1. Senchenko
2. Josephito Lopez
3. Marcos Maidana
4. Chris Van Heerden

There's my punt at it all.

Not quite so sure it would be Paulie Malignaggi, he's terrible at keeping secrets.

A few people said he's "dangerous" which could lead us to Provodnikov ? the only other dangerous welter I can think of is Keith Thurman 20-0 (18ko)

I hear Eddie is lining up the next welterweight Prizefighter winner to have first crack at Kell's belt, in a PPV extravaganzer

I hope its Maidana a decent test quite well known over here thanks to our friend Amir.
Also some people on here think Marcos would eat Special K for breakfast so it may go some way to nullifying their un warranted criticism.

I believe its a very winnable fight Kell's speed and accuracy would cause him major trouble and if he can finish him in a decent fashion the right signals will go out.

Any of the first three will be OK. Would prefer Maidana though.

Extravaganza.

It's not funny unless you spell it right. Even then it's a bit crap.

i would say it is for the IBO paper title against Chris VAn Heerden

If it is him i think Kell should win that fight handy enough if he trains hard and turns up on the night

he was gassing a bit again saturday night before he got the stoppage

Maidana would be a dangerous but massive fight for Kell a real launchpad if he did the job.

Twitter's saying its gonna be Mosely, Senchenko would provide a test though, I can't see it being Malignaggi.

Don't think it's going to be Mosley he said he hasn't been offered the brook match and is apparently fighting mundine in Australia early October at light middleweight

Maidana aint 'massive' in my opinion, he's fairly crude and not a welter either.

He's got better under Garcia - but would prefer Guerrero or Berto instead myself.

Hope it`s not Mosely. I want that guy to retire before he does further damage to his brain. His speech is awful these days.

I would not want to see Magic man either.

Berto or Thurman would do the trick.

Out of those three I'd take Maidana , he's always exciting, dangerous and recently in a cracker with Karass, (chinned him) and Lopez (chinned him) plus Alexander (Kells target) dealt with him handily. So something to prove there..

Maidana, Ortiz, Berto, Guerrero and a few other guys would be acceptable to me. Mosley is way past his sell by date so that fight is a joke really. Senchenko is also a poor fight. Beating Ricky Hatton who hadnt fought in so long and who also was past his best doesnt say much. On top of that Malignaggi boxed his head off! Van Heerden is also a poor fight. He's not a top welterweight, id pick him to be beaten by any of the top guys out there.

Anyone who thinks is maidana is going to be severely dissapointed......no way does that fight get made its way too tough a fight for brook. Look at his last 5 opponents is there anything in there that suggests hes been stepping up? What makes you think he would do it now especially with no title on the line.

Any chance it could be Broner?

My wish would be Brook v Broner , on the undercard of either Pacman or Bradleys next fights, with the 2 winners to face each other early next year.

Big 'name' is the clue and it's bound to be Mosley. Well past it but great name to have on your record but means nowt.

I don't think its fair too say that any fight is too tough for Kell.
In his last 5 fights he fought eliminators with the aim being to get to a mandatory position and then got injured if those opponents were the ones that he had to get past how is that his fault.
Hatton was a name which would sell while they tried to build a fan base.
N'dou was a bench mark gate keeper no crime in that and the American outing was a run out as Kell had never fought in America.
His critics have jumped at the chance to question his bottle like a previous poster has said Alexander dealt with Maidana well also Khan has beaten him(with a little help from the ref).
It may not happen but if it did Kell would step up to it.

Im not a fantasist who believes Kell is the second coming but he is not a bottle job he does not deserve all the negativity aimed at him.

It's not Thurman. He's fighting Chaves on Jul 27. Leaves him 8 weeks for Sep 21. Same goes for Berto who's fighting Karass on same bill.

It's not Mosley, he'll be fighting Mundine.

Ortiz would be a big shock but a good move. I don't see why Maidana would risk a high rating with WBA by coming over here. I think Maidana fights Broner next.

Can't see Guerrero going from Floyd to Brook.

Senchenko or Lopez for me.

After all the "big name" talk it can't be Van Heerden. That's bordering on laughable to be honest.
