Ok, lets have a little poll and see how many Boxrec members are going to the fight on Sept 28th.
Also lets have a little chat how you think your night is going to go. How are you getting there? Are you staying over? Are you excited?

Ok seeing as ive made the poll here's my day.
Well to begin with im on a 3pm till 11pm shift so need to get this changed, hopefully I will as my colleagues are pretty good, saying that ive only got 1 or 2 to ask. My lad lives down south so he will come up to North Yorks on the Friday evening after work with his gf and little lad. I imagine we will set off around 11ish and get to Manchester around 3pm. We will park up at the arena as we are not staying over, hopefully the car park is run by TPS (Total Parking Solutions) as I won't pay the parking fee. If not TPS I will need to find out who are the enforces so I can get away without paying the fee. (I do not work for any parking company but they cannot issue fines)
As my lad will be driving its ding dang do for me! Ill have a few pints in Manc and a few in the arena and most likely will be watching most of the bill as my lad loves the live fights and to be honest I do ont want to walk around the bar areas all evening as I imagine the crowd are gonna be pretty fired up.
After the fights are done its a 3 hour drive home so hopefully be in bed around 3am.
For me I think its going to be a great night, but as ive seen lots of big fights its kind of run of the mill, my enjoyment will come from my son who is 23 and only been to 1 live fight before, Haye v Harrison and he loved it. So for him he will be like on E's in Ibiza! Thats where I will get my buzz from.

There is never anything run of the mill about a truly big show. We will be there, on the train, about 3 and make our way into the arena about 7. Love the big fight atmosphere. Out in Manc afterwards and then train home Sunday dinner, carry on in York until Sunday night and feel crap all day Monday. Rewatch the fight sober on Monday afternoon for a more informed view of who won and why.

Driving up from Leicester Sat am with the wife. Drop the car at the Holiday Inn, try and find a few decent real ale pubs in Manchester for a few pints (any recommendations?) Then head to MEN. Will probably watch the whole card as I love being at the whole event, not just the main fight. Hoping Quigg will be on the undercard too.

Got my tickets this morning.
My day will consist of getting there about (1 hour on the train) 3pm having a few beers in Manchester, then going to the boxing about 6ish then watching the whole show (or as much as I can). not booked a hotel yet, but will be doing although there is the airport train which runs all night which we could get then get a cab home. Drinking in the arena will probably not be an option as Carlsberg is pretty vile & definitely not worth paying good money for!!
