Good scrap between Bey and Molina.
Agreed; serves the drug cheat right.diddy wrote:Mickey Bey....meet Karma. Loser.
Same here.DetroitHxC wrote:I'm getting a double-whammy, cause it's storming here too!
I was quite surprised; Bey should've boxed and not thrown so much early that round.BarryWashington wrote:Around the 4th or 5th round I knew that was going to happen.
I stopped watching after the 8th because I'm a big Lundy fan.
Had it 80-72, Bey before switching to ESPN.
It was more surprising watching it as it happened than on paper. Molina looked knackered in his corner after round 9 and Bey put a beating on him for the first half of the 10th.BarryWashington wrote:Around the 4th or 5th round I knew that was going to happen.

Yeah, it looked like if anyone would get stopped it'd be Molina.chucktaylor wrote:It was more surprising watching it as it happened than on paper. Same for the Jack fight.DetroitHxC wrote:![]()
I'll checkout the second broadcast.
It looked like Molina would be the one stopped, though (in the 10th).BarryWashington wrote:Around the 4th or 5th round I could tell that Bey was getting very tired and although he looked good, I just went with a gut feeling in my head that that would happen. Molina has a habit of doing that in fights where he gets battered for the whole fight but then due to his pressure and very good punching power that he would find a way to stop him late in the fight.
Thanks Barry.BarryWashington wrote:Jack looked decent. Not bad but not good.
He had good temperament, good technique (though his defense was sub par), good use of the jab, good straight right, good body punching.
That fight was hard to score for a lot of rounds because they both were very cautious/economical with their punches for most of the fight.
I think if Jack ups his aggression while working on head movement he could develop into a more solid fighter.
CCatch it later; excellent stuff.BarryWashington wrote:Like I said earlier, I stopped watching after the 8th due to the Ajose/Lundy fight.
Jack kept the fight on the outside and threw some good combinations, but was susceptible to the jab. Ennis should have followed up on more of those jabs he was able to land flush. Neither of them did a lot of quality body work.Rover wrote:I missed most of the Jack fight; what were your impressions?

It looked like a wide win for Jack to me, although I didn't keep track of the rounds.
