I'm thinking about putting 50 quid on Sanders. If I do, then I might buy it, but otherwise, I won't.

This fight is only PPV over here.

i will, sanders is the only person that can beat vitali at the moment IMO

No, Sky-TV must think we're a right bunch of plonkers paying for a hard-hitting but hardly aesthetic-looking Ukrainian against a one-round fighter who, given he's been out for so long, will probably only be dangerous for half a round.

There is no undercard whatsoever on April 24th. I'm not staying up all night to watch one heavyweight fight which, the more I look at it, is going to be quick and one-sided.

I'm thinking about going into selling boxing DVD's - started putting my VHS's on to DVD with some success. So it depends if I have the time to do this - but that is the only reason why I will buy the PPV.

Sorry, this is PPV in the UK? A big guy who's never beaten a top 10 heavyweight and who had his face opened up by Fat Len against an ageing, inactive South African with one win over a top 10 heavyweight who's been horribly exposed before and since? Will they be sticking Skelton-Sprott in the package and making it a festival of mediocrity?

If I'm reading this right and this is PPV in the UK, it's absurd. They could sell Hatton or Calzaghe PPV and make more cash than this. They'll get four buys. Mind you, I'm also massively against PPV as a principle.

I can remember when skys ppv shows were actually worth buying (it was only a few years ago after all). It seems as if they are taking us for chumps more and more recently. The sad thing is there will be people who'll buy this event, sky will make enough of a profit on it to make them put other fights of the same sort of standard on ppv in the future.
I won't be spending my money on a fight that will only last as long as Lisa Rileys pizza.

Yes, I remember the days when even a LL would struggle to be considered PPV quality (Akinwande, Golota both on Sky). To be fair though so far SKY haven't been doing the PPV's for a while now. Its only 3 guys considered PPV sellable (Lewis, Tyson and Naz). We should be grateful the Calzaghe and Hatton haven't been on PPV (okay Joe has, but DLH vs Quartey was the attraction).

Tyson and Naz (should they continue) will always be on sky box office regardless of opponent, I am surprised at this but I am sure Sky are predicting the Vitali will be the next dominant Heavyweight and therefore, he should, be the most powerful (box office) of champions.

Compared to the US we have it good. They had to fork out a rediculous some for the priveledge of the Toney vs Holyfield, Morales vs Espedas double header (both on seperate PPV). We got them for just the sky subcription charge.

I know so many people with chipped boxes that I watch all the PPVs for free....its the only way...

After re-evaluating, I will not be buying this PPV.

Sprott - Skelton isn't even PPV & it's on the same night.

Sky Box Office starts at 2am and I presume they'll just show the Teddy Reid fight & Vitali - Sanders.

I buy almost every PPV going but Making this PPV is really ridiculous.

Sky won't make much profit from this. Most of my friends don't even know who Vitali is, nevermind Sanders.

I'd rather they offered this on PPV than not offer it at all - at least we have a choice, which is the way it should be with a decent satellite channel - I still haven't forgot how Sky gave Hop/Trinidad a miss in the bad old days.

Anyway, it's being shown free on ZDF, so I'll be tuning into German tv for the night

I'd say Sanders is worth a few quid at those odds too.

They have to be shown that they cant rip us off.

They charge way too much for the monthly subscription as it is.

(I'm going clubbing and there is a load coming back to my house, so it's only a pound a piece)
