Has Brook's career been the most boring of any active British boxer? When considering the lack of competitive/big fights he has had in his almost 9 year career, I'd say yes.

I can't think of anyone worse considering all of the T.V. time and promotion he has received. At least most fighters who do less than Brook get less attention, so they're in less of a position to bore me.

Not boring but definitely frustrating.

He has as much ability as anyone out there.

Ricky Burns has to be up there but that kid that quit I will remember for ever, did he actually break a hand or his heart does anyone know and Nathan Cleverly minus the Bellew scrap

Cleverley`s scrap with Murat was a great fight to watch.

Most boring for me has to be Matthew Hatton.

I have been to most of Kell's fights in the last few years and have enjoyed watching him I've never been close to bored.
He is a great boxer with bags of potential his recent run of luck and subsequent position are frustrating for him and his fans.

The way back is made doubly frustrating by Matchroom hype and let down opposition .
He is high risk low reward for a lot of fighters Khan included so is not likely to get thrown a bone.
It's not gonna be easy till his mandatory position comes back around.

I believe he is a victim of circumstance a view I know full well is not shared by a lot of people on here.
No way has he deliberately engineered his position he has been unlucky and possibly at times not had the right direction.

Brook has above British level ability by far and proved it years ago - he went through the division and looked really good doing it; it's the last 3 years that have been stop/start though serious injuries can plague anyone. He has a decent bout next time up and then hopefully he can get in with a top 10 welter, do the business an then get a crack at a title. It may prove to be for the best really; we were told that Kell was a shoo in for a world title and that was before he'd won the British, expectations can be too high and he needs that bit of seasoning and level experience, if he'd have had a shot 2 years ago he may well have come up short. He looked powerful and purposeful v Jones last time out, if he's the same v Senchenko and gets a good result - a strong stoppage then it's clear he is ready for a move up toward top level. The ratings are a joke though, there are too many that get up there through promotional advantage rather than strong wins, at least Brook is beating the men in front of him.

The Cruiser division as a whole and almost ever boxer in have been he most boring by far.

Gavin's performance was punch perfect.

Frankie is the best boxing at domestic level but Brook is boxing at a higher level; Khan is proven at the higher level so the best welters are Khan, Brook and then Gavin (for me anyway, Khan is underated - he's faced some excellent boxers for quite some time).

He hasnt been plagued by injuries the last 3 years though. In regards to the fights with Alexander yes but otherwise no.

Please, please explain what Brook has EVER done to deserve the praise he gets on here? Carson Jones is his best win and he was well and truly exposed by Dean Byrne. I lost interest in Brook when he kept pulling out of fights... I will tell you why he is not one of Eddies favourites anymore too, more than half of Brooks fans have lost interest as well. Last time he boxed at the arena a load of my mates sat ringside with the cheapest tickets as it was so empty. If he can ignore the undefeated British and Commonwealth champion and fight on a debutants undercard on Hull(against the guy who drew with Dean Byrne) then fair play to him. No doubt Eddie will be praying Stalker, Joshua and Campbell sell a lot for the Sheffield show too to try create an atmosphere...

Firstly I doubt what you're saying about the seating at the arena sorry but I do.
Secondly the Hull fight was a run out following injury proposed by his promoter's whats he meant to do tell em bollocks.
And thirdly I like Kell he is a quality operator its a frustrsting time but half his fans havent deserted him.
When the big fights come he will sell build it and they will come.
I wanna see big fights if he didnt get so much shite on here we wouldn't have to defend him with praise.

Jeff lacy wasnt that great of an amateur. He went to the olympics but he didnt win f all.
