Completely idiotic for either of these 2 to set foot in a ring at their age. They accomplished plenty during their respective primes, and managed to get out relatively unscathed. Why tempt fate with absolutely nothing to gain by doing so? Unless it's to make a few quick bucks because you blew all the money and now you're broke.

Not being cruel or anything, but I won't shed a tear if one of them gets comatosed.

I don't believe it will be Chavez's last fight either. He said originally that his final fight would be against Willy Wise. He also said, that his one regret was to never win a version of the Welterweight title. He seems content and resigned that it will never happen.

But, I wonder if someone has a mad idea and suggests it to him, it would get sanctioned (Boxrec at one stage, maybe now, had Chavez ranked at 10 at Welter since his comeback). Mayorga vs Chavez would be sellable.

I hate to see it, its just something I fear could happen.

Chavez actually still looks reasonably good in that photo, but damn, Frankie just looks OLD. He's kept fighting all along - 3-9 in the past 5 years, and his last 7 losses have all been by KO. That is not a recipe for keeping one's health intact.

Yes, its a credit to how good Chavez is/was - in his 40's and if he told a cavemen he has never laced them up you could well believe him.

Its remarkable that his nose doesn't look a little flatter.

Randall just looks a bit well fed, I'm sure he looks fine in the flesh.

I don't have a huge problem with these 2 oldies fighting eachother, it's not like either has the ability left to inflict a savage beating.

I just hope afterwards they both call it quits.
