Quest for the Heavyweight Championship of the World", by Adam Heach.

Anybody read this book?

I just found out about it. It was published in 2012.

From the reviews at Amazon it looks like a real good read on the '60s era, with lots of stories about Ali, Frazier, the sad story of Thad, the schemes and maneuverings, the west coast scene, etc.

Haven't read this but would be very interested. I really like Thad Spencer - he was a decent fighter...properly managed who knows...his fight with Quarry went all wrong for him....
