At the Belfast weigh-in today, according to SecondsOut.com. He scaled 10st 13lbs. Defending IBO champ Sergio Martinez scaled 10st 13 1/2lbs.
Brian Magee also made the weight comfortably at 11stone 12lbs (and 12oz), while Jerry Elliott, in his first fight at super-middle (well, he had a super-middle fight a few years ago, but then dropped back down till now), tipped the scales at 11st 13lbs.
Over 4,500 fans will be in attendance at the legendary King's Hall tomorrow night. Should be some night.

Ive predicted that Williams will lose a split decision.

I hope I'm wrong as he is a terrific fighter and one of the nicest guys you could meet.

I spent a bit of time with him on the amatuer circuit in the early 1990's.

most definately... I was at York hall with Wayne Alexander a year or so ago and the pair of them were chatting away for and there was absolutely no needle at all... both great down to earth guys.....

When some kid asked them for autographs Richard duly signed and Wayne pulled out a photograph card of himself with his euro, brit and southern area titles and signed it for the little lad...
The kid asked why Richard didnt have a card and he was like "i havent got enough belts yet, havent got as many wayne....."

Find this one a hard one to pick, my heart says William but my head say Martinez.

Williams runs so hot and cold it's unreal, if he's 100% he can win but anything less, then William will have another LPTS12 on his record.

Sorry if I'm sitting on the fence but this is a toughy IMO.

It's funny that Sky bill Magee-Elliot as the main attraction and I quite possibly won't even watch the fight, or at least will be pressing 'forward' on the remote quite a bit.

Williams-Martinez is the fascinating one for sure.
