Is Clev's loss ominous for Boomer?

Seriously. After seeing Nathan go like that, and then Enzo Macarinelli of all people not get floored by a bloke who dropped him twice and then he ran from, he can't be looking forward to the Stevenson fight. I'm getting on the method of victory in this one lads. Sorry Tony!

No one ever thought Bellew would beat Stevenson did they?
TB will get flattened.

A fair number stated they think Bellew has a good chance of winning.

Well I guess it's another dent to the form-line, can't see Bellew coping with Stevenson myself, even though Bellew is a tough kid, you have to worry about those knockdowns against lesser men at a lower level. I just think if you're getting put down by McKenzie, Ajisafe etc, then that doesn't bode well for taking on a world-scene banger like Stevenson.

Stevenson has got to get passed Cloud first, which isn't a formality.

I dont think that at all. Bellew has always seemed like he generally believes he can beat Stevenson. He was over the moon when Stevenson beat Dawson as he thought it an easier style match up for him.

I agree, Cloud has the toughness to stick around, Adonis isn't hard to find and his punch resistance is questionable. I think Cloud will do it in a humdinger.

after clev loss thats what i automatically thought of bellew and where about he is in relation to his boxing talent ... if hes does manage to pick up a belt from stevenson or cloud (who knows which one) but if he does win a belt miraculously then i can see the same selective fights to hold the belt like cleverly did..
i could be wrong but imho LW is not brimming with loads of talent ... as the no1 is a 48 year old in hopkins... no offence but that tells you the division is a bit light.. however with adonis moving up and Kovalev looking like hes living up to his potential..they are are a breath of fresh air in the division that needs a good freshen up....

Boomer will find that the Adonis whacks like a mule after it`s balls have been kicked. It aint gonna be pretty.

The only word of caution I would have is that you've only fought 2 southpaws, Andrejevs and Ajisafe and both had you on the floor.

I`ll be rooting for you, but that guy carries some serious power.
If he gets past Cloud (which is no certainty) he will be expecting you to box him at range. I`d suggest getting in his face and landing some bombs of your own early doors.
Really looking forward to this one.
By the way, having fought Cleverley yourself, did you expect such an easy demolition of him by Kovalev? I thought Kovalev would get to him at some point, but I didn`t expect such a comfortable win.

I agree, Tony your only chance is to go to war from the opening bell, pounce on him and try and catch him cold. He has looked kind of frail in the past so there's at least some chance of you putting a dent in him.

really? adonis flew out and caught dawson cold before the echo of the bell left the room.... tony's has a massive height and reach advantage (8 inch range and 3 and half inch height) ... adonis wants people to meet him on the inside nothing would suit him better... isnt it better to keep him out of reach with good solid jabs to set up small combo... in and out ....staying in that pocket to long and tony is "Tiiimbbberrr" like dawson ... :)

Stevenson is way over-rated and not in the same league as the likes of Kovalev and GGG.
I give Bomber a really good shout here and if he doesn't catch a big shot like Dawson did he should be able to box the ears off him.

Tony will box Stevensons ears off and win a wide UD

Would you fight Kovalev Tony?
There's no point asking questions like that, mate. There's only one answer you'll ever get.
Haha valid point. Tony has always seemed like an honest fighter though hence the question
