Fenech too small. But he has a good style to beat Floyd.

If this is the same Fenech who beat Azumah Nelson like a drum for 12 rounds, (forget the ludicrous "draw" decision) then I'd say he has a very good chance of upending Floyd.
Remember, Mayweather was inexperienced when he was a super feather. Fenech's pressuring Castillo-style along with that non-stop punching attack would earn him a solid decision. 8-4.
Jeff might not connect on Floyd as frequently as he did with Nelson, but Mayweather would be retreating for his life.

I agree with this to a T, if Floyd agreed not to throw any punches of his own before the fight.

Don't get me wrong, Fenech was a great pressure fighter. But Floyd was very elusive, and hit pretty damn hard at 130. He did adjust to Castillo in the rematch, and Fenech is not Castillo. That's not an overall quality statement, but a size, durability, and style statement.

Agreed, and I had Floyd/Castillo I a draw anyway (7-5 in rematch).

I thought Chavez won a round, two at most.

Castillo was bigger and stronger than Fenech, that was my point.

He beat Chavez handily, I guess it was a fight in that it was, yes, a fight, but it was fairly one sided.

My other point was that Floyd would hit back, and you seem to be negating that for some reason. Fenech was quite a fighter, sure, but I don't think he eats counter lefts from Floyd and keeps coming back for more, or more precisely he would, but it would be painful. It's an entirely different situation.

You are taking all of Fenech's strengths into account, and none of his weaknesses, all while ignoring Floyd's strengths and accentuating his potential weaknesses. Of course you are going to come to the conclusion you have.

I am sure Emmanuel Augustus could have beaten Kostya Tszyu, if he was on his absolute best night, and both of Tszyu's hands were broken. But that would be a silly argument.
