What sort of punishment would be appropriate for such a deviant as this?

I actually think Vladimir has made some very good use of the BOTP section personally. Sure he's gone a little nuts posting matchup after matchup, but for the most part they were reasonable matches to imagine and think about.

I agree, Buzz. Vlad's not offensive in any way. A few of his have been posted before (Lennox/Wlad, Ike/Mosley, Tito/Mosley), but he has quite a few good match-ups, actually. If the poster is concerned about server space, I'd say he should take a look at OT. This is a boxing forum, this is Boxers of the Past, and Vlad posts on-topic threads.
As for this one...dunno...ring collapses.
BTW, Vlad hasn't posted many threads the last couple days, either.

I've been enjoying it; you throw up quite a few matchups I'd never thought about.

I like the hypothetical match ups, some of them seem a bit one sided to me, but they are good ways of generating interesting discussion, and that is the point of the forum.

It's either that, or 9 page arguments about how aliens and Kennedy conspired to have Ali avoid someone.

Im not knocking these match up things but surely you have to give some background why you are matching up 2 fighters that never met. Anyone can pick out 2 fighters and do a match up. This guy surely must just have a boxing record book and flip open to a page and give 2 fighters.

The interest is pretty poor on a standard to a reply ratio on a discussion board.

Surely the weather is nice outside, go take a walk or get a dog. Or give at least a reasoning why you are picking such fighters. Somebody needs to get a hobby.

If you don't like his ON TOPIC threads, ignore them instead of posting off topic nonsense involving fake boxers. And why does Vladimir have to give any background? And so what if the responses are short? The threads ask who'll win a fight. Maybe people just feel like answering the question sans an explanation; so what?
At least his match-ups involve REAL fighters unlike your Creed thread(s).
I come to BOTP to discuss those who fought for real, not Hollywood actors who did so in movies.
We have OT for a reason.
Post your threads about fighters who existed only in movies there and stop taking petty shots at Vladimir who's done nothing improper.

Bingo, Vladimir! Keep posting tons of threads! For the most part you have good match-ups, though do a search because I've seen a few before (Tito/Mosley, Quartey/Mosley and Lewis/Wlad, for instance).

We are discussing hypothetical boxing match ups, in the past section of a boxing forum. I'm not sure what's tripping you up here.

Many of the discussions have been based on the reasoning behind responses. The Jones/Spinks, Whittaker/Tszyu and Hamed/Nelson threads, to give but a few examples.

I'd point out that this is all somewhat ironic, the whole: "I'm posting on a forum to tell you to stop posting on a forum" angle, but I'm sure you've realized that already.

Vlad, nothing wrong with fantasy matchups, but I'm sure I'm not alone in requesting that you space out the threads you create more. Flooding the forum with thread after thread only kills discussions and doesn't let the threads naturally develop into fruitful debates.
