Kid Galahad vs John Dickens

According to records, this fight is signed for the 14th September at the Magna Centre, for the vacant British Super Bantam title.

I've checked, and Eubank Jr is on the undercard against old favourite TBA. Hopefully, this is a Channel 5 jobby. Might be a good fight. And Eubank Jr. desperately needs to get in the ring, this is only his second fight this year.

He does like his beer. Old news but great fight. Galahad to dominate, I have a feeling he might be the best of the bunch.

I wouldn't think either would dominate. It's a very good fight. Dickens is a good fighter.

I have no doubt Mickey, Dickens is an excellent fighter and will be fantastic in his own right - I just think Galahad is special, have always done.

from what I have seen of Dickens, mate, he's got a good kind of style to match up with Galahad; good pressure, movement and angles, quite fast hands, and a southpaw to boot isn't he?

This is a Channel 5 show though, right?

Galahad just a typical ingle front runner. No much of a dig either. Wouldn't live with quigg or frampton except to fiddle them around for a few rounds

Oh dear, will I upset someone? Genuinely not my intention. Obv they've churned out a high pedigree but a portion of their fighters don't like it back at them. Regarding Galahad I don't see anything really special.

Barry Awad is good - very good.
Too good for Dickens and I rate him as well.
Bloody hell Ilike of course it's on Channel 5 been advertised for the last month ! Keep up my friend.

Galahad has started to really dig in his body punches.. Has some decent stoppages on his record. Dickens is good but Galahad a little better in all departments and is a very slick boxer. I expect a stoppage body punches prob middle to late rounds

Tyson Fury would disagree with you. He became a huge fan of Galahad after watching him spar Quigg and Rhys Roberts at Brian Hughes' gym years ago.

Sparring isn't fighting. Plus respectfully, I wouldn't hold furys opinion in the highest esteem.

Why is that then? Probably a little more clued up than you wouldn't you say?

Galahads movement and elusivenessare second to none, once upon a time it was junior that people were put in with to prove how tough it is to be put in with a top notch boxer whilst being pepperpotted with punches. Now its bazza.

Second to none? If he wins this in style I will take my hat off to him. The Ingles aren't shy of letting their lads go if they think they are good enough. They would have matched Naz with anyone in the world when he was twenty.

Maybe, but I'm entitled to my opinion just like everyone else. Tyson fury isn't too bright, plus it's his promotional stablemate so he is bound to favour him.

:TU: Interesting that Etches is on the Brook undercard, I thought he had signed with Hatton?
