Ticket Sellers

Just saw a post on another site about Tony Dodson not selling tickets for the Froch fight.. Who are good ticket sellers apart from the obvious ones, like Hatton, Calzaghe etc..
Who has a really bad following?.. Vanzie and Eastman come to mind

MC John Mcdonald sold all of those tickets to the Korean fans who were at Brodie-Chi. They are all from New Malden, where he lives.

Shea Neary was a good ticket seller. His fights were allways packed out.

ust out of curiosity,what are the ticket sales for johnny nelson like? after all hes not recknowned for his exciting fights or being a big name in the eyes of your average armchair punter. does he sell out venues?

no..and to be honest it isn't surprising....SOOOO boring!
Enzo Maccarinelli has a good fan base. I remember last year on the Calzaghe-Mitchell bill, Enzo's fans didn't even stay to watch Joe fight.

Out of interest anyone notice (and I don't mean to be rude) a deteriotian on John McDonald's announcing in the recent fight. He used to be one of the highlights when watching TV broadcast "Sports Fans and Sky Fans" - what a cracking line.
Don't get me wrong, he still got the catch phrases and is still one of the best in the UK, I just think he's sounded nervous the last few time - his timing and flow has deteriorated.

I'm not so sure you know, his fight Vs Guilermo Jones was pretty packed, and he only had Junior Witter on the undercard.

really? i tried to forget about that fight as soon as it ended. Dreadful.
Nelson's a nice guy, and there are boxing fans in sheffield...you might be right.
