I thought he was fighting at the SECC on Burns undercard on saturday? and i looked through the Matchroom schedule on Boxrec and he,s nowhere to be seen

Is he injured? i havent heard anything :??

He was due to be fighting Lee Connelly, who's now fighting Appleby, no idea where he's gone, no mention of an injury.

Family illness apparantly. Something relatively severe im imagining for him to pull out.

I thought it could have been personal issues as id not heard of any injuries,i hope everythings fine and he,s back soon

Appleby's a good fighter as well, but he hasn't fought for well over a year, he's got a chance to spring an upset here that could do a lot for his career, I hope he doesn't go out to survive. It'd be good to see him make a real go of it, take some rounds off Appleby, even if it means he gets stopped.
