A war with two big punchers.Who takes it?

I think Mugabi was better than Campas. I see Vargas slugging and getting stopped. But it's tough because Mugabi's LMW resume isn't that great. Neither is his MW one; he lost to Hagler. I just think that that version would beat Vargas.SenorPipino wrote:Rover wrote:Mugabi has better power. The tough thing about him is that he fought his best fight at middle v. Hagler. Tough one to pick.
Mugabi had that monster puncher reputation but his resistance was only so-so. Although he did hang in there with MMH until late.
Think Vargas was the better fighter but would his warrior mentality get him into big trouble against The Beast?
If Mugabi doesn't win early, Vargas probably wears him down and batters him late.
Vargas was able to use smart boxing technique against another proven puncher, Campas, and come out with a KO.
How do you see the fight specifically unfolding, Rover?
Agreed. Mugabi the better boxer and the better puncher than Yori Boy.Mugabi can knocking out Fernando.Rover wrote:I think Mugabi was better than Campas. I see Vargas slugging and getting stopped.
