Noticed this on the SKY EPG earlier tonight. It's next Monday night:

I don't know it they are showing the full fight, highlights of the fight or are just discussing it.

I've never been one to say "I'll SKY plus that". I'm more of a "I'll record that" kind of guy.

Taping is so analogue

Oh that brings bad terrible memories. I used my Spectrum tape recorder to record the music from the Michael Jackson Thriller video directly from the speaker of my living-room TV when it was shown on Channel 4 almost 30 years ago. I remember throwing a tantrum when my Dad wouldn't stop talking whilst I tried to create "the perfect recording".

At the risk of sounding like Peter Kay, why did Grandparents find the concept of recording a program so difficult to grasp? My Gran thought she had to sit in the kitchen, when recording something, just in case the video picked up the sound of her voice when she talked! I'm being serious.

I've still got a box-set television. I was given a second hand flat screen for free, but I moved that into my old bedroom at my parents.

I'm thinking about getting a big-screen telly, but my old one is quite sentimental to me.

Has anyone got the allegedly iPad app? I'm away and thinking about watching it through this but I don't want to if it's not very solid. Is it pretty reliable and a decent picture?

BT got back to me on Twitter with the following:

"This program contains reaction to the bout between Floyd Mayweather and Saul Alvarez at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas."
