Who takes it in this one ? I know the unproven guy has potential and looks great against nobody . How should he match up vs a certified proven fighter?

No doubt in my mind...unproven guy every time.

Cmon...legend schmegend.....unproven guy has everything on the line, and will give it his all.

Legend has had it....everytime...he's been through the mill, all washed up, left it all behind in his way to becoming a legend and will never have anything left under any circumstances.

Just because unproven guy lost to another semi unproven guy, makes no difference. Unproven guy ALWAYS HAS SOMETHING TO PROVE>

Legend had "been there done that" and won't be expecting what unproven guy is going to be bringing.

Besides, legend is old, worn out, and probably has a compromised set of values as well as having his race going against him...whatever his race may be.

Unproven guy gets exposed i.e. loses close decision in a valiant effort. Unproven guy is now called a fraud.

legend is now called Legend.

Thus doomed to the next "circle of fight"..... and the next unproven guy...is inevitably about to close in.

To 'unproven guys' that come to mind are Nedal Hussain, very nearly stopped Pacquio and Troy Waters very nearly upset Terry Norris. I know the Aussies didn't win, but for unproven relative nobodies they sure rattled the cage of two great world champions. In fact Hussain was ahead by an unbeatable amount on all cards before his TKO loss in the tenth.
