Audley Harrison MBE ‏@audley_Harrison "Still keeping the faith that I'll get another opportunity to return to the ring. Staying in shape, keeping positive and keeping it moving"

Reckon he's having problems finding anybody who wants to fight him? May explain why he said he was returning to the ring in May, and we still haven't heard any news of a comeback fight.

Why doesn't he just fight some clubfighters low level in the states, away from all the pressure and cynicism of the British ring? Fight regularly and build himself back up into a pension payday?

If I was advising him I'd go with (and I said this when he announced he wasn't retiring) what the lad said further up the thread. Just fight some 6 and 8 rounders against the low level guys. String a few KO wins together over the course of 2 months and then go for someone of Martin Rogan's kinda standard wherever that may be. Just to make the point that ok your getting KOd by guys like Wilder and Price but actually at a certain level you can still compete. Getting a decent fight off the back of a KO1 loss aint gonna be easy.

Audley is at that stage of his career where the following things are true

(a) If he made it to round two against a half decent opponent that would be some achievement
(b) If he managed to beat a half decent opponent it would be a miracle
(c) His career is destined to end with another humiliating first round defeat

He can get fights just not with the paychecks he wants. As above he will either have to fight his way back into the mix or wait for someone who wants a name on their resume Hughie Fury is a definite possibility I would think.

Who ever he would fight he would get knocked out. There is no on chit enough that I would see him beating. I would wager a 'Butterbean' character would stop Harrison in 1 round

There's very little legacy to protect, so he might as well go for the cash.

He's actually still fairly talented but its just boring. He's all ego and needs to get into coaching and stop being a show monkey. He's prob got loads of knowledge to share

100% spot on. It made sense against Ali Adams for many reasons. No point with Ian. Ian fights McDermott this year for English title unless McDermott vacates. I think there are fights out there for Audley but not for the money he would expect to get paid so not sure where he goes. Prizefighter number 3?

Ive only just seen Tom's fight against Lewison and he actually looked like he was boxing smarter to me. More boxing at range and using his jab. It didnt work out but I could see improvements in what he was actually doing. His chin seems to be a bit of a suspect area though.

If anyone has a war with Ian Lewison they are likley to come out second best.

Tom needs to go back to basics and get on the jab not get involved in a war. Had not too with Ian as he gets under the opponents skin.
