This fight would appear unlikely any time soon. But if the two were to square off in December how do you see it going?

I think from what I see the majority tend to lean towards Frampton however I really think Quigg has the edge. He has quite a bit of height on Frampton and also his shot selection and accuracy are excellent. He also appears to have a really decent amount of power.

It's a domestic clash I really hope happens in the next 18 months.

its a genuine 50/50 in my opinion, one of the closest (and best quality) all-British matchups (or potential matchups) since the likes of Rhodes-Moore, Barker-Macklin, etc.

I think Frampton has the slight edge in punch power, and I get the impression (albeit unsubstantiated) that Frampton holds a shot a bit better.

on the other hand like you say Quigg's shot selection is very good and i think he puts them together in combination a better than Frampton, who has seemed to be a little bit more one-punch-at-a-time from what I have seen.

i think their records match up very closely.

gun to head I'd go with Frampton but the margins here are very, ummm, marginal

if this got announced it's one of the very few fights i think i'd say I'd be there, wherever it was staged.

Very interesting fight & for me it pisses me that this will either never happen or wont happen for a long time.

Personally I go for Quigg. They are both unbeaten so its difficult to pick as neither if them have been in massive difficulty, but I just think that he would win probably on points

Id go with Frampton myself. I think Quigg has got a lot of ability himself but I have the feeling he's somewhat chinny. He was put down against Arthur and he was also put down against that that Villani who has a 22% KO percentage. Im not sure Quigg would of survived against the Martinez that Frampton fought for instance.

i have too and fro'd from each camp of frampton and quigg ... i think quigg has the slight edge with boxing ability however Frampton has a better chin... theres so little between them.. it wont happen for a while and i dont blame both camps.... they are probably waiting til there is something more meaningful on the line which should bring about a much bigger purse and audience

Quigg never seems to rush. He just picks the right shots with quite brutal timing. I am slightly concerned about his chin against Frampton, but not enough to bet against him. I favour Quigg to eventually pick Frampton apart.

Of course I've seen Salinas as fight. I honestly thought he would be a better pro than has turned out currently.

He hasnt fought anyone of any real note to gauge him properly though. Im not saying Quigg wont beat him, im just saying I doubt it will be easy.

Good Cuban amateurs always come with a bit of a reputation attached to them, he hasn't looked close to special though in the pro ranks. But you are right pal, maybe his performances will rise with the level of competition. I am looking forward to finding out.
