when i first saw Junior fight i thought ohhhh he looks like he has picked up a few fighting genes from his senior .. however they were quickly extinguished by watching his last 2 fights where i thought he struggled quite a bit.... :(

eubank fighting that guy brian rose went the distance with a few months ago in bolton.

Think jnr will be another Matthew hatton type. He will do well to gain the expieriance hatton did.
Fighters like bjs & Ryder have been doing it since they was 8 years old they are much more advanced

At only 23 years old and limited amateur experience I think some of the criticism here is a bit harsh. Give him time; he appears to be improving. Decent showing from him tonight though still appears a level below the likes of BJS at the moment. I'd give him another 4-5 fights before going for a shot at the British.

since he guy was a late replacement Im not suprised it was over in 3. I would have expected a longer fight if the bulgarian had proberly trained for the fight.

As Eubank did not suffer any injury it looks like the 28th September bill for him, hopefully someone a little tougher, as his father says.

They sounded optimistic they'd be on the undercard of Haye / Fury, didn't they? Hopefully he will be. He's been criminally inactive in 2013.

He should be alright for it. He only took three rounds to knock out that muppet, and in December he had a fight two Saturdays in a row.

IMO he's got to be let off the leash now.

Hennessey's matchmaking was really good in his first year as a pro think he fought 8 times against good opposition for your first few pro fights. Since the Pryce fight his quality of opposition has gone down and he's only fought twice this year.

Shame he won't fight Nick Blackwell anytime soon as he has an EBU Title fight that would have been ideal.

Hopefully the BBBofC put him and Etches to purse bids.

Why would they, Etches would ruin Eubank jr IMO.

There's talk that he might face Etches' stablemate Liam Cameron next.

No, point taken. He did at least try to throw punches. Some guys, as a late replacement, would take it as an excuse not to do much and pick up a paycheque.

Though at the same time, I've seen some boxers come in as a late replacement, and make life difficult for the boxer who has been preparing for somebody else.

Though, apparently Eubank stopped a guy who had never been stopped before. So, I'll retract my Muppet statement. I just meant that, Eubank wasn't in too hard a fight, and should be able to box somebody else in two weeks, just as a keeping busy activity.

If I was matching the young Eubank, I'd look to get the tough Farai Musiyiwa for his next fight. He went the full 8 with "The Gorilla" John Ryder in his last bout which is decent form. Following that, a crack at Danny Butler for the English title. I've never seen Etches fight but it's no wonder people are avoiding him; his record suggests he is a real banger.
