86 press scores collected for the Mayweather masterclass last night.
My card is on the Boxing News site along with all the scores. I have also worked out the average score of those 86 press scores, not good reading for CJ Ross.
Floyd Mayweather scored a clear winner over Saul Alvarez by 86 members of press | Latest | Boxing News

CJ Ross is a female judge, in your piece you said Ross's score was over-ruled by 'his' counterparts.

Rediculous scoring can lose boxing fans. So many times we have seen the loser get the decision or the winner pick up a loss. In this fight Mayweather won conclusively, a draw is a joke.

Just a wee point to demonstrate how difficult it is to score rounds. Please watch rounds 1 and 2 again and explain how you scored it . You gave the first to Mayweather and the second to Alvarez. Watching live I simply couldn't score them either way and marked them 10-10. Watched them again and STILL can't separate them. I saw flicks from Mayweather without ANY of them seeming to land and nothing back from Alvarez.
It's not easy is it ???

In fact on the commentary it was even suggested that from the back of the hall that it might appear to be a close fight.
Certainly there were moments when I thought that was a close round…Or okay Alvarez didn’t land flush but he landed enough times to have taken the round… the on the replay you’d see that they mostly missed.

I like the conspirancy view that judges were ordered to score a draw if it looked at all close, giving rise to massive lucrative rematch for all involved.
One saw it very close, the other two not so much, so she was left exposed.
But then again I loved fairy tales as a kid!!!
