As title. Works corners for Gallagher on FW shows (think he's usually in Smiths corner) too. Jack of all trades is our Tony. Lovely fella and I wish him all the best.

Would be a good fight, but Beltran won't come to the UK unless it was good money.tear up wrote:G0mez wrote:Crolla vs Beltran ?
X2 and if crolla gets past Beltran crolla v burns could be good fight I think Ricky is on the way out now
Yeah. Cant see him wanting to come to the UK for peanuts to fight some unknown on the world stage with the good possibility that he'll get shafted again.WelshJack wrote:Would be a good fight, but Beltran won't come to the UK unless it was good money.tear up wrote:G0mez wrote:Crolla vs Beltran ?

What come over to fight a guy that noone knows on the world stage and who doesnt hold a world title? Also getting paid peanuts most probably in the process? Yeah, I can see the appeal.DMA1987 wrote:Expected Crolla to get picked up, thought they would have done it a lot sooner after he beat Rees.
As for Beltran not coming over, the eyes of the world will be on that fight, there is more chance of the judges overcompensating towards Beltran than him getting robbed again. Like he wouldn't come over for the shot, Christ.
Not unless there was a good payday on offer.DMA1987 wrote:You seriously don't think he would come over? Seriously?
Ah no I was talking about Beltran coming over here to fight Crolla!DMA1987 wrote:There is next to no chance he will get robbed again in my eyes. It was embarrassing for everybody concerned.
Ricky needs the Beltran fight, because without it he will be the champion in nobodies eyes anyway so I can't see the offer being derisory.
So you have Beltran coming over to the UK, to face a guy he has already beaten and who he must know he has the beating of. He will come and take the belt he believes is rightfully his.
Ahhhh! He has been offered the rematch, Eddie said as much in his last IFilm interview.columbo wrote:Ah no I was talking about Beltran coming over here to fight Crolla!DMA1987 wrote:There is next to no chance he will get robbed again in my eyes. It was embarrassing for everybody concerned.

On the way out are you tripping would you have boxed on for 10 rounds with a broken jaw? Short answer to that isn't it!tear up wrote:G0mez wrote:Crolla vs Beltran ?

No offense Billy because I know you support Ricky 100% but he was getting bullied by Beltran a lot in the fight. He was holding on constantly throughout the bout and should of had a point taken off. That was probably because of his jaw but still you have to remember that he only ended up with that injury because Beltran had hit him! Ricky is tough as nails, there's no denying that but you have to be fair aswell.billy nelson wrote:Guys Beltran couldn't stop Ricky even though his jaw was broke and was more interested in not getting hit, when they meet again Ricky without a broken jaw will box his head off the same as the first two rounds,Beltran had the biggest chance of his life to win and by that I mean very clearly,he never and it will be the biggest mistake of his career.
I had Beltran by one round when I watched it on tv with the most negative of commentary turned down
Cheers mate but I genuinely beleive if Ricky hadn't sustained his injury he'd have totally outboxed Beltran like the first two rounds,I admit I thought after the first two rounds it was going to be an easy nights work, how wrong can i be lolEzzard wrote:Billy, I do hope they meet again. It was a top fight...very tense. I think Beltran won by 2 but I think people are not giving Ricky his due...
(1) For simply sticking with it until the final bell...
...I think it was Jim Watt who praised you and Ricky for playing out your hand as best you could.
(2) Actually pushing himself to win some later rounds and get himself back in it. Showed a lot of character.
They'd both have a lot to prove in a rematch and I hope it comes off...for both of their sakes...
Your entitled to your opinion mate, bottom line is Ricky still holds the belt and will fight again and retain his title in big fights in the futurecolumbo wrote:No offense Billy because I know you support Ricky 100% but he was getting bullied by Beltran a lot in the fight.
