11 minutes is incredible. Even Haye doesn't sell that well. FairPlay to eventim they had the system spot on

There are still some tickets remaining, mainly singles in the 'cheaper' price brackets.

Not all tickets go on general sale, obviously. In my view, the speed that the tickets that are offered get snapped up demonstrates just how good the software-bots touts use are getting. It's impressive stuff.

X100 the resale sites have hundreds on. They will to hold some back for the undercard fighters as well.

No, the tickets that go on general sale are sold, like you say. I'm not criticising and don't have a problem with the system. I'm just making the point that the swiftness of the sale says more about the advancement of the software than it does about the genuine demand to sit in the venue and watch the fight.

I'm sad to have missed out, forgot it was today and only got on at 1pm at which point I couldn't get a pair of tickets.

It's sad the way it's gone, but as others mentioned, the touts are the problem and you can buy automated bots for about $1000 which is what the touts do and they send 100s of simultaneous requests at once from different proxy IP addresses, so us normal people have very little chance of getting in there.

Something really does need to be done about the ticket situation, maybe having to have a verified ticket buying account would help, e.g. you have your home address verified and the tickets have to go to that one address. Maybe give priority to those people with verified accounts before allowing the 'general sale' to begin.

There is nothing wrong with the ticket situation. Tickets sell for what they are worth, like they always have.

I have always advocated a season ticket type scenario. People who follow sport regularly are ones who should get 1st dibs really.

You can get that, if you have enough money.

How feasible would a bigger arena be for the UK? We have the MEN (I know it's not called this anymore but I still call it that) in Manchester and the O2 in London which are both just under 20,000 seats for a boxing event. We have a load of 10k, 5k and under 5k arenas and halls. Do we actually have any scope for 20k+ without having to resort to football stadiums?

Still VIP tickets, plus undercard fighters and fighters themselves will have tickets.
