Froch just interviewed on Talksport and claimed a split. Said it wasn't an amicable split either. Anyone heard anything to confirm?

Yeah, I heard that interview as well. I couldn't believe they didn't ask a follow up question about it!

Wowsers, that would be quite a shock right before such a big fight. If true this has to lessen Groves' chances now.

Isn't never good any major changes before such a big fight.
I'd say its a silly mind game blag & why is froch talking about it??they are taking the pi$$ out of him.

This fight is way too soon for groves a massive unnecessary risk as froch could completely ruin him.to me booth has to rely in the fighter to come up with the goods his guidance is dire but great for fans.

Anyone else think Froch can sometimes come across like a bitchy teenage girl?

This must be a complete fabrication set up by Booth and Groves to get Carl thinking about other things. No way this would happen.

I know what you mean. I don't warm to him at all . I'm rooting for Groves!

Ok so it was announced by Froch on a channel that promotes SKY on a regular basis, on the day tickets went on sale?

If you listen carefully he hasn't said they've split.
He said - I'm not sure Booth represents him. I think it's gone all pear shaped for him.

Well they would wouldn't they Orb ? :TU:
Ryan told me he was making a comeback last night - but he was pissed.

Absolutely! I'd expect nothing less of them. Just seemed a bit contrived to me, the way he said but I guess I'd probably say the same after talking about the fight all day long.

Ha, really? Has he got the itch? I wonder how many times retired fighters get that? I think I remember Moore saying he struggled with it on and off for quite a while.

Did he tell you he loves you?? & tell you he really really means it? If so it was the drink lol!

Nothing wrong with Rhodes coming back. I wouldn't like to see him doing l.middle all serious & stuff but to do middle & 12st he could do masters & areas to keep himself git & happy

Yes, according to The Dark Lord, although I half-expect them to announce it was just a managerial thing and that they're still training together! You never know :TU:
What do you make of it? Seems crazy to me.

I find the man tedious, his overinflated opinion of himself very boring. and he never has anything nice to say about anyone except mcrakin.

I'm struggling with it, I got the info and sent it on, but expect to see a reversal at some point, which is bad for me, I'll get called loads of names online, yet it will be good overall as they're a nice little team. Adam's a top man in the sport, he's always been great to me on a personal level and when Froch-Groves was announced I had a sneaky feeling for Groves on points, now I'm not so sure. Maybe he's hooking up with Tony Sims, who knows.
It's bull mate.

And you've more chance of hell freezing over than Sims facing Froch / McCracken in the opposite corner.

Froch said to Sky during their interview that he has knocked him down in sparring.

Exactly and that's why you don't need to worry about it. Ask, print what you're told, give an opinion, and move on. If the goal posts move, print that, give an opinion, and move on...

I could only think that maybe booth takes too much of a chunk as manager & trainer??
Big gamble this is & maybe groves feels he's been thrown in & wants maximum dollar & rightly so it doesn't reek of confidence you'd expect from a upstart like groves

How do we know that this isnt just a ploy by Booth and Groves to lull Froch into a full sense of security thinking that Groves preparations have been thrown into array in the hope that Froch wont train as hard thinking that Groves is now no threat at all?
