was just about to ask on the other thread if they were any relation .

one of my lads lost on points to him in one of his earlier fights on semi pro circuit and has his pro debut dec 6th .

Would be good if they could get a rematch at some point down the line , both will be better boxers than they were at that point .

Ill be watching how he does with interest .

Ive asked John about Scott and he says Scott is a strong lad with a good head.

Read about this in my local paper. Fairly old to be turning pro, but good luck to the lad. Is this Nicholson guy (another localish lad) he is fighting any good?

Nicholson is reportably a good amateur, quite a prospect in the Gateshead area! Who is also 26 with 2 pro fights winning his 2nd just this last weekend!

ive never heard of him , but hes 2-0 , dont usually see debutants boxing 2-0 lads but there will be a logical reason for it im sure .
