Alex Mirrison put on Facebook the other day that John was getting another title shot. Never mentioned which title or weight but I heard he's going to Featherweight again. Someone said he could be boxing down in Hull. Anyone got any info?

I hope John stays at Super Feather, he looked really strong fighting there and didn't look weight drained

Well he was mandatory for buckland and withdrew. So can't see him fighting at super feather in his next contest he must hav something lined up at feather.

He's happier at featherweight. Doesn't feel like he's got the dig at 130

Withdrawing was possibly down to Hatton winning the purse bids and setting the fight up on a Warren show.

Heard that too but Selby was supposed to have vacated that title but he's defending vs Walsh.
Surely Selby will vacate his titles and aim for EBU and maybe beyond. Plenty of good fights for Simpson if he goes back to 9st.
