hands down, personal opinion. I've attended 50 or 60 shows pro and am. I'm sure there's people on here been to a lot more than me.......but, I wouldn't have travelled to Manchester even with 2 free tickets in my pocket for this. Haye turns me off boxing. And I bought both your Bookazines, sorry David.

I only ever booked one, the Valuev fight, and lived to regret it, never booked another after that. Let's face it, as a heavyweight, Haye hasn't really been Mr Excitement, Barrett fight was ok, Ruiz fight was fairly Dull, Audley fight was a farce, and the Wlad fight was pugilistic night nurse.

To be frank, I feel much the same. Haye talks a good fight, but rarely delivers one. Aside from slaughtering a terrified Audley, he's not really done much exciting at heavyweight. To be fair, he did batter Ruiz, but even that was strangely boring, as was the Barrett fight despite multiple knockdowns.

Can't explain it really, just find his fights a bit boring.

At Cruiserweight he was a lot more fun to watch.

He does also come off as conceited in a particularly charmless way. Kinda seems like he's really up his own arse. Maybe he's a real nice guy outside the ring, I don't know, but I've never really taken to him personally. I'm sure he couldn't give two soft shites what i think either way, but just saying.

He genuinely has chased the money at heavyweight, he isn't a big bloke.

Yes, this is true, if he had the kind of chin Holyfield had, he'd be big enough - but let's face it, no cruiserweight who moved up ever took a shot like Evander.

He's not a natural heavyweight, that's for sure, without all the training, he'd probably weight 14 stone in decent walking around shape, he's not a naturally big bloke.

Which in turn shows that he is a talented fighter considering most were ( correctly, in my opinion ) picking him to knock out 6ft 9 18st "monster" in double quick time.

The Ruiz fight was decent and a good win, Barrett was entertaining. Audley was a lamb to the slaughter as was Bonin ( that was a nice finish )
Wlad was a snorefest obviously as was Valuev ( but he got the result that mattered )

Mediocre at heavy apparently, yet no current British heavy will get close to his achievements at the weight! ( Joshua ain't entered the pro ranks yet )

In a couple of years I think people will look back at this and think about the time when Tyson Fury almost fought David Haye and how it was a lucky escape for the big fella

Haye is overrated.

Firy can beat Haye, I agree. I think the chance of him doing that is somewhere between 5-10% though.

Joshua might not make world champion, its still early days, but he has a lot to work with. Don't judge on just his Olympic performances. He looked better at the worlds the previous year. I think the pressure tightened him up and even then he performed well overall. Higher ceiling than the likes of Fury ( Tyson, Hughie might be a different story depending on how he develops over the next few years ) and Price for sure.

Blaming Haye for a cut is pretty amusing. Thinking it was done on purpose is major conspiracy theory time!

Were does Fury go now? Thompson would be good to see. Would give a good indicator considering Thompson's recent opponents. Maybe a keep busy fight against Price? ( heaven forbid! )

I think Haye KNOWS it would be harder tan he ever imagined. It just hit him that he is fighting a real fighting man AND then he decided to get the blade out..That was a joke!

Haye must of known it was a risk,...buncey said as much tonight Haye has his eye on another fight ,done with Haye and his BS.
You can underestimate Fury all you want ,But outside of Wlad ,Fury would of been Hayes hardest test at heavyweight imho

Aye maybe for Haye now fighting him would be good. But Fury will only get better as time goes by, if a few years go by then Haye will be more worse off than fighting a raw Tyson.

Who knows what the future holds but I think Tyson should keep his head down and spent the next 2 years winning fights as opposed to chasing a Klit. Maybe even Arreola stateside - he's popular over there.
