Yeh I like Jim Rosenthal as the lead guy, a safe pair of hands and been doing it long enough to know his stuff and keep it all running nicely. Keeps Buncey in check too doesn't let him hijack it.

Don't want to be critical cause Rosenthal is very good. However, when that female interviewer on show time called a knockdown a knock out, Bunce ripped into her for entire duration of show. Rosenthal did exact same error today....not a comment from Bunce.

Problem for Bunce is that if we looked over the "core" of allegedly (Bunce, Rawling and Jones) we'd find just as big a mistakes...i.e. Rawling scoring a 10 rounder 120-108

Yeah, just sometimes feel Bunce crosses the line sometimes at his digs at the USA commentary team and interviewers....kellerman gets it quite a bit. But when his mates have a bad day, or bad moment, there is no dig.

John Rawlings is the worst boxing commentator ever.

Always like Rosenthal, Buncey is better as an analyst than an anchor, Rawling's never been my cup of tea.

Rosenthal waxing lyrical about 'underground GRIME bands' before Haye v Chisora will always be my memory of him

Bunce would maybe be alright if you muted him and read the subtitles.
His voice is sheer pain to the ear drums.

My memory is the shit puddle poor jim left on the floor of the fat duck restaurant after poor jim and friends were poisoned by Hestons shellfish which had excretia on the shell

Rosenthal gives you that warm fuzzy feeling (not the sort of warm fuzzy feeling he got in his Calvins at Heston's) of having a safe pair of hands at the helm. You know the show will pan out okay.

He's an eternal class act. If he's trying, he doesn't show it. Others could take note.

Jim's a legend. Proper nice fella. I like that he's a boxing fan as well. He's been a Boxing News reader for years.

Never said this publicly before but when I was doing bits of research for allegedly and money was taking forever to filter through (it was soon after the channel's launch), Jim offered to pay me out of his own pocket. That's a class act. I declined by the way.
His son's a quality comedy actor too.
