I Would like to see Eastman v Simon.....but If Simon is going to keep fighting for the WBO its not likely to happen.

Let's hope it's not a fly drive holiday he's planning.

By all accounts, Simon, a huge celebrity in Namibia, felt he owned the country and drove accordingly. This story kind of confirms it. How can they postpone a case like this so Simon can get in a fight!

Bloody good fighter though, really did a number on a lot of people, if he got back into shape, could yet be the best man in the division, depending on how much the injuries have affected him, they were pretty severe injuries as I remember.

yeah he was very good and I recall one of the numbers he did was over Winky.

Yeah, great win. It was screened on Sky from South Africa and at first the result was announced as a draw. Then it changed to a split decision win for Simon. Winky took it like the great pro he is.

Simon fights with great energy and good variety. To beat Winky, close as it was, demonstrates the man's quality. Lets hope he stays away from motor's and in the ring.

Eastman v Simon would be a solid little match. There's plenty of fighters I'd like to see Eastman in with come to think of it. Raymond Joval, who is a bloody good little fighter, or the current upset king David Lopez would do nicely.

Every round he did in the gym was a four-minute round.

Simon's injuries??? What about the people he killed and maimed with his reckless driving, on not one but on multiple occasions? He should be in jail, not a boxing ring.

Wasn't Simon on a charge of manslaughter or something at one point? I remember him doing over Kevin Lueshing, i thought he was going places other than jail. Let's hope he can recover, anyone decent is a welcome addition to the stale Middleweight division at the moment.

Christ, I'm not a judge, I'm a shitting boxing fan, and Simon is/was a good fighter and one who will brighten up the division.

Yes this isn't the first time Simon has been involved in a car crash. The one before this latest disaster was not too long ago either.

Rate Simon highly. Showtime wanted to do Hopkins-Simon winner vs Calzaghe...Hopkins initially, verbally accepted...but then changed his mind soon after.

Good all round fighter, best win looks like to be that one over Winky Wright. Although it was MD, from what i have read- it was a fair decision, he certainly did a better job than Fernando Vargas.

Simon would be a real player in the division, and if he doesn't get locked up will be in the mix. Perhaps he could fight Tito?
