Seems like this fight is a chance of happening:

Pretty tough fight for Wood as I rate Murray pretty highly. Good on him for having a crack though, hope he pulls it off.

Good luck to Garth if it comes off, but would rather see Soliman v Murray.

I agree. I haven't bothered reading the article as it's originally from Boxing News 24, the lowest denominator in the boxing news scene. Good on you Garth, if it's true (knowing the source, Boxing News 24, a load of shite!), this is Sam Soliman's fight though.

Murray was unable to get into the USA to fight Chavez jr due to his past criminal record.
That same issue may get in the way of this fight too.

Murray has done 2 stints don't think they were that lengthy. 1 was only 60 days I think should be alright I hope. By all reports he's a responsible, father now.

Has there been any confirmation on Wood v Murray ? I honestly thought the Soliman camp would have jumped at the opportunity and I read somewhere that Murray was not impressed having to fight someone with Garths record. Things are very quiet regarding Sammy, I hope he gets busy soon with a big fight !!
