It's not on there or the BBBofC website, the only result from the show is the Ormond fight. The board are useless at posting results, still haven't got the Mitchell Smith result up that was 3 days ago, for a title sanctioned by them.

I cant remember the name but he was a Croatian i think ,definitly an Eastern European.he stopped him in the 7th

Why do the board need another company to put results from shows they sanctioned and had referees, judges and inspectors at, onto their website? What a waste of money that is.

i assumed Cornish was going to move up a notch after the butlin fight.

its a shame he isnt being given any proper fights. his record is starting to look a bit padded with the usual imports

theres no reason to move him up as he isn't good enough yet even british fighters at a similar ranking pose a serious threat to him.

If there was ever a fighter who shouldnt be fast tracked its Cornish,the man had next to no amateur experience,9 fights or something and although he,s improving he,s still a million miles away from British and Commonwealth level

Id give him 25 fights then see if he,s ready by then,no need to rush

He won by stoppage. Not sure which round. allegedly showed very brief highlights last night on the Bunce Hour

Ian defo has more natural talent than Gary but Ian doesn't seem to have any kind of dedication to the sport. I would pick Gary to beat today's version of Ian Millarvie.

I do think its a common fault with the Scottish fight fraternity that they have little understanding of the diffrent levels in boxing?
Coaches can't see past there fighters, I've even been accused of bigging Ricky up but when somebody can match what he's ACHEIVING we can take note

Tyson fury couldn't stop him, hughie fury couldn't stop him, Sam sexton couldn't stop him, Tom Dallas couldn't stop him, Mariusz wach couldn't stop him.

Gary Cornish stopped him.

Worked him over slick, he was ready to go in 5 but Cornish was enjoying the workout.

This one was never about the win, that was a given. It was the manner of the win.

If it's the opponent listed on the schedule, he's only fought Sexton, who needs the rounds right now as he rebuilds after losing to Price.

Cornish has looked relatively poor in most of his fights that I've seen, but I was surprisingly impressed with how he looked against Butlin, a performance I feel is overshadowed by the controversial ending. I haven't seen this fight, but another solid performance would suggest he's improving and that the pace he's currently moving at may be an effective one.

Believe me, it's all falling into place. 25th occasion in a ring. One fight at a time and improvements made during every camp.

Best judged when he fights someone with a pulse and will punch back regularly and hard!but yes good on him he seems to be going in the right direction.
My concern is he's another TG hype job who will get flung in when there clearly not ready have another shot then chuck it

Iv watched gary a few time s didn't think much of him then he came to our gym and give cris Hightower burton a going over in two days of sparring seen things there that with improvement he can be a respectable heavy weight

Isn't that what I implied mate? That Ian is more talented? But even if they boxed Ian wouldn't stop Gary,the problem would be that Gary has been active and Ian has been training for a couple of weeks then disappearing again.

Look at Scott Harrison, he always trained like a demon but when coming back and looking in terrific shape he struggled because of the time away from the gym, sparring and fighting. Big Ian was notorious for being lazy when he was actually training for fights!! So I couldn't see him all of a sudden at 30+ managing to get him into a shape that would overcome Gary's youth, strength and conditioning!
Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think we would see it happen because Ian Millarvie will never box again.
