the ref stopped Kpakpo Allotey after a small cut and no blood flowing, yet in docherty fight before that docherty cut was 10 times worse and had blood everywhere and it didnt get stopped

First he gives the British welterweight title to 'house' fighter David Barnes against Jimmy Vincent, then makes it even easier for 'house' fighter Craig Docherty by stepping in ludicrously in the fourth round against Allotey. That was a joke stoppage by John Keane.

Bet Keane wont ref a hatton fight anytime soon.

It was worth watching to see the smile on Jim Watt's face. Great man. Great fighter. Possibly one of the most underrated British fighters of all time.

Yeah, didnt like the stoppage, it reminded McCoy of the Hatton-Pedersen stoppage although one man heavily on top, the refs timing of the stoppage was strange

Anyway, I dont think it would have made any difference, Docherty would have worn him down & stopped him in the next round or two

What did you guys think of 'Hot property' anyway?

I think he looked very good tonight, & has a very good defence.

Although Docherty is a friend of Alex Arthurs, Alex recently said in the scottish press that he would knock Craig clean out

Somehow, McCoy dont think it will be quite that easy for Alex!

You don't know that, DC was winning but the Ghanaian was still in it. Something needs to be done about all these home town reffing decisions, it's happening all the time and it's a disgrace.

I do know that cos im fuckin psychic!

The Calzaghe-Mitchell one was bad, simply because Calzaghe had tasted canvas in the same round that Dave 'shithead' Parris(excuse my french  ) prematurely stopped the fight

Its McCoys big humble opinion that Doc would have stopped him, so dont lose sleep over it

Now you go get some shuteye kiddo! :P

Looks like they're now going the IBO route with Docherty and a shot at IBO champ Cassius Baloyi.

No'one said he wouldn't have, but on the other hand he may have been knocked out cold for ten minutes five seconds after the premature stoppage (if ther hadn't been one, obviously).
