Jim Rosenthal is a good safe pair of hands (and should be presenting boxing now, not be working for Pravda, i mean MUTV) Don King is awesome, putting everybody over and John Mcwhats his name is a nice touch.
Boxers will always be great, but boxing shows are not.

I think when Rosenthal kicks things off in a bow-tie like that you know you're in the company of class.

For personal reasons, Gomez vs Arthur came very close to topping that night as my greatest sporting watch but it didn't quite get there. Benn vs McClellan was awesome.

Unbelievable night, and shows you how to present a fight, Sky take note - though it'd be hard to mess that one up. Jimmy Lennon out classes Buffer as well.
A miracle Benn survives that round, and a tragedy at the same time. It's super human the way he recovers in the 2nd.

Agreed. Just watched the whole show over again after seeing this thread.
One criticism, which we've complained about plenty in the last few years.
Commentators, shut the fu** up during entrances and anthems.
Silence is golden.
Why do they never learn?

Sky should take note of the pacing of the build up. It moves along really fast, no waffle and everyone gives the impression they cant wait for the fight to start.
They should start boxing coverage with the main event with only 10-15 mins of build up, then broadcast the undercard after.
So say I.

Here, here. Just watching the intro made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Electric atmosphere doesn't even half do it justice.

The opening theme is called "Drive to the Boatyard" by Ilan Eshkeri.
I can only guess that something incredibly exciting once happened to Ilan Eshkeri at a boatyard.
