It won't even be close, Bellew is geting stopped inside 6 rounds IMO!
Mortgage the house, sell the car, get Wonga'd up and get on, get on indeed! This is like buying money!
As I said on Twitter 3 months ago, if Bellew win this I'll staple my cock to the kitchen table!

Bellew should avoid this fight like the plague!
Fair play to him for fancying it but it may have a quicker ending than Clev's recent destruction.

Doubt it'd go 3.
If Bellew wants to fight with the big names, all credit to him. He'd get spanked by the top 8 or so, but it's always worth a try.

The odds would hardly make this bet worthwhile.

It'll be interesting to see what they open at. I'll be surprised if it even happens.

Bellew said on twitter that he thinks stevenson doesn't fancy it so would not be suprised if stevenson doesn't drop the belt in favour of bigger fish ie kovalev or pascal/bute.
Kellerman didn't even mention bellew in the after fight interview which says to me stevenson/hbo have got other plans.

Didn't Stevenson say he had a mandotary first when interviewed? I've deleted it off the planner now so can't check.

He did, when they asked him about Kovalev -

Stevenson is 36 years old and isn't going to get any better than be is right now. 75/25 mandatory defences are a complete waste of time especially with such a fascinating, explosive battle with Kovalev just begging to be made.
Lets see how much these two want the glory.

Stevenson looked excellent; Tony Bellew would be hard pressed to do much with him; Kovalev v Stevenson would be a really big bout.

I think Stevenson drops the belt and fights maybe a top 20 contender in the mean time ready for Pascal/Bute winner. Would Bellew become the champion then?

Why would he do that Jack? To duck Bellew? he could slice his eyebrow open and get an extension instead

Stevenson looked excellent and is not a one trick pony; if he weren't afraid of Cloud he won't be afraid of Bellew. Tony wouldn't talk himself out of a payday and a title shot but Adonis looks a clear level above.

Just watched it again and stevenson does mention his mandatory,my mistake.

I thought Bellew was the mandatory and that was the reason he flew across to Quebec to watch the bout - to get a feel for the place and the atmosphere; if he weren't the mandatory he'd have recorded it last night and watched it this morning with a cup of tea and a bacon butty.

Before last night I considered Stevenson to be a devastating puncher with very untidy movement and not too much boxing ability. I thought Bellew may have a chance at outboxing him and outhustling him once it got to the later part of the fight. After last night I was clearly wrong as Stevenson's head and foot movement were really good. Him against Kovalev will be fascinating when it eventually happens.

The thing about twitter is that a momentary thought or impulse or hope is transmitted to thousands of people just about instantly; Bellew is a good boxer and a very good commentator; he is not on Stevensons' level after last nights performance and would do better v Kovalev who at least isn't a southpaw.

I think we all saw that Stevenson is an elite fighter what he done to a former solid champion.
I'm not sure if bellews ready to face the elite yet.bellew didn't rate clev & said he's nothing to the other world champions & with cleverley being exposed on the big stage is it bellews turn??
I saw some flaws in Adonis last night I'm not sure if bellew can exploit them & he will need a decent game plan

He certainly will and he's a long way from home over there; it looked an intimidating place to box as the away fighter and Adonis did look very good; how does Tony do with southpaws?

think your all being a little hard on bellew here, as he always likes to tell us, he is from the streets of Liverpool and that on it's own means he's got a chance.

As a pro he's fought just two - journeyman Jevgenijs Andrejevs and lanky Bob Ajisafe. Both dropped him (he was off balance and unhurt v Andrejevs) and Ajisafe gave Tony one of his hardest fights. This may not mean much - Stevenson has a very different style to Ajisafe - but them's the bare facts.

Bellew don't seem to gel with southpaws which is a worry!
Scousers don't like southpaws ha!
Look at price v camarelli & Thompson Paul smith v degale & bendall.
Calzaghe said he'd never bother with southpaws & vinny panzienza said they should all be shot!
& what sparring would bellew get for him???
