How will you view HAYE if he pulls out of the Fury fight?
I just have a feeling he will go and fight Wlad or for a vacant belt.
If be pulls out if this fight I will view him as a utter ####.

This fight offers him more than any other out there, and would lead to bigger fights. If he fights Wlad/Vitali or Povetkin as it stands he wouldn't earn what he's getting for Fury. It's silly to think hell back out of a fight that offers exactly what he's after.

Yet conversely, a fight with a belt holder (or for a vacant title, most likely the WBA's) would give him a belt which he could use as a bargaining chip against either Klit brother - They are notorious difficult to deal with, hitting you over the head with contractual stipulations and and bogging you down in % carve ups etc. He needed that WBA belt from Valuev to put him a stronger position when negotiating with both Vitali and Wlad, and it helped him, unquestionably.

There is a huge caveat, Povetkin has to beat Wlad, and the fight with Povetkin would still be there after Fury.

What's the chance of the Fury Haye fight being for the WBA if Povetkin loses?

So Povetkin beats Wlad and then Haye beats Povetkin and gets some leverage to negotiate with Vitali. That chain of events is less believable than him headbuttting the wall...

Check out their rankings. I just did, out of morbid curiosity. Haye is their number 1, Fury their number 15. I can't see them sanctioning it, unless Fury shoots up their rankings between now and Feb.

One thing's for sure, that WBA "regular" title will be vacant on Saturday, unless the fight ends in some sort of draw. The same way it was when Haye lost to Wlad.

Even if Povetkin loses the WBA "regular" title will be available...in fact, actually Haye v Fury for the "Regular title" could add 10-15% extra to the purses of both men....

Wouldn't be as big a surprise as to find Deontay Wilder as the WBC #3, the WBC #5, the WBA #6 and the IBF #11...

Perhaps not, but they do have a habit of making fights for vacant titles between their #1 & #2.

-Pudar and Chagaev fight each other so one of them will drop down anyway

I think Fury could find himself up in the top 10 with a single stay busy and a nice slice of pie given to the MEndoza family.

Why does he have to box twice in a year? Not quite sure I follow you.

Haye does what suits Haye best. He's a shameless self publicist and basically in it to wring every last penny out of it (and why shouldn't he?) - So he does what suits him best, financially.

There's more money, long term, in a vacant WBA title shot than there would be in a Fury fight. It's common sense. A vacant title would give him (as it did before) better leverage for negotiations with either Klitbot and win, lose or draw against either he would make millions of $$$ rather than one or two in his current position.

I'm not advocating it, nor saying it would be a good thing. I personally don't think he's earned a shot at either and think he should go through with the Fury fight but let's face it, he's going to do what he wants and has a track record of doing so. It's largely irrelevant what you or I think, he's going to ignore it anyway, even if we were both stalking him on twitter and instagram continually haranguing him.

Too many ifs, buts and maybes.

I wouldn't have a problem with the WBA sanctioning their fight next Feb, but I'm sure others would do.

I think Haye should take the Fury fight, it's getting beyond a joke now. I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch but if he did somehow cancel again it would just be taking the piss on a large scale.

Well I would back Povetkin to beat him anyway!
