Skeete is ever improving & getting brought along quite nicely be a good scalp IF he can take it. I don't think skeete will lose but then you can't ever write lynes off he is as professional as they come & has emmense pride.

This seems a strange fight to me because I thought Frankie said a fight between him and Lynes couldnt be made *before the Barnes fight was signed* because Colin wanted too much money or something? Now he's fighting Skeete for the English title?! Something doesnt seem right.

Yeah, it's called wanting more money for the fight with the much bigger name.

Lynes is half the fighter he once was and Skeetes decent but id be dissapointed if Colin doesnt give him a lesson in boxing

Skeete's a winnable fight, a defeat to Gavin would have more or less been the end for him, beating Skeete opens things up, especially if the British title becomes vacant early next year.

think Lynes wins this, although decent chance he'll win it but get robbed on the cards being the away fighter

Cant warm to Skeete he has a very strange but effective style.

In fact it's great business sense.
He is never gonna beat Frankie & his career is over, but he accepts a fight with Skeete for less money which his got every chance of winning and he is back in decent big money domestic fights

Lynes was expected to beat a fighters with similar style in Witter (twice) and Mcloskey yet he was unsure of himself in those fights. Its an obvious and winnable matchup for Skeete.

I wouldn't say Skeete's style is similar to those two. He's as awkward yes but in a different way.

Might sound pedantic JWP and I applogise for that, but the point was lets not compare Skeete to a prime Junior Witter.

Skeete isn't in the same league as a prime Junior Witter, never will be.... the power for kickoff.

Close fight to call IMO.
