I'm sure this has been discussed before, is David Haye really 6'3" ?

I happened to catch him being interviewed on Alan Carr's Chatty Man the other night and he was only a tad taller than Carr (who is allegedly 5'9"). Carr was wearing quite thick heels and Haye had flip-flops on so guessing Carr was around 5'11" with heels on, then at best Haye must be around 6" or 6'1"

Anyone stood next him?

I've stood next to him, I'm 6'3" and he looked to be the same height to me.

Jonathan Ross is a lump prob near buncey's size allway's evaluate how tall somebody is against him!
I'm 6ft on the button I think Darren barker is aswell with froch 6-1 but looks smaller then barker?

Don't think he's quite 6'3".

Reckon about 6'2", as he's been listed as this in the past, and he only looked a smidge taller than 6'1.5" Dereck Chisora.

Also looked more than 3" shorter than Wladmir Klitschko from my recollection.

Yeah I tend to go along with that. Wladimir is actually 6'5 and a half if memory serves me correct from what he said in an interview once.

I'm 6 foot and he's taller than me. I think 6 foot 3 is right.

Just watched the stare down between Haye and Klitschko and Haye was a good few inches shorter, think 6'2 or just under is more the mark.

I'm 6.3" and he is the same size as me...

He was at Newcastle this year. He's somewhere between 6"1 & 6"2, not 6"3.
Met Tyson Fury too & he's nowhere near 6"9, I'd say 6"7.
Smallest HW I've met was Iron mike, was lucky to be 5"10. Bit of a porker now too!

All bets are off when someone is taller than 6'8 ... How can you possibly gauge how tall they are??

Fury looked 2+ inches taller than Deontay Wilder when they met and he is 6'7

Id say Haye is 6'2. I wouldnt say he's any shorter than that but not taller either.

I'm 6'1 and I went to the Bethnal Green show yesterday and Tyson seemed frighteningly big in all honesty.

If you think Tyson is ONLY 6'7 (which is massive) then I would be interested to know how tall you think Wlad, Audley & Wilder are ...

Wlad is 6'5 and a half and audley is about the same or 6'6 and wilder is about 6'7

So Fury has to be minimum 6'9 as Wilder looked noticeably smaller than him

Ok, look I don't know if Fury is actually taller than Wilder .. BUT to my eyes in the clip I posted he looks about 3" & 3 stone bigger than Deontay

He's heavier no doubt but height wise i dont see much difference.

I've met Haye he's a big lump these days. It just shows you how massive other heavyweights are. I would've said at least 6'2" and that 6'3" was not unbelievable.

He was absolutely dwarfed by Wlad (who I saw in an interview saying he was 6'5", not his listed height) and Haudley, whose listed height is all over the place, but Haye does stuff like bends his knees in staredowns etc. It helps sell the David and Goliath angle for fights with the super heavyweights.

Funnily enough, with Fury, I always thought he was shorter than his listed height until I saw him next to Wilder where he certainly looked taller. The iFilm London interviews with Tyson shows that he doesn't look much bigger than Kugan who is about 6'5", but they both keep moving around so it's hard to tell. Then there's an interview with Wilder where Kugan is absolutely dwarfed by him and is clearly taken aback by how huge Wilder is.

I'm so confused it haunts my dreams. I can barely sleep at night.

I think Kugan said he's 6'4. I think fastcar is 6'5.

I think Kugan said he's 6'4. I think fastcar is 6'5.

Kurgan is definitely 'only' about 6'4.

Fury accommodates his height for whoever he is with. A sign of humility.

But clearly he is a big chap, as when faced with other big fellas like Wilder or Belshaw he suddenly grows!
