Probably Tyson on a tko in 3-4 rounds, just too much speed and power for Quarry to handle. Although if Tyson was a little off he might well be in a lot of trouble as Quarry was durable, unafraid and a good counterpuncher. Either way Quarry would let his hands go and punch back, it probably wouldn't be enough but who knows..

This doesn't end well at all for Quarry and given his big heart he might have got seriously hurt.

I could envision Jerry boxing smart enough early to start pounding on a frustrated Mike but more likely scenario is Quarry takes too much punishment early for that to happen. Tyson TKO 8.

Which Jerry shows up? The Jerry who beat Mac Foster and Ron Lyle has a real shot.

How about the Jerry that fought Frazier the first time?
How does he do against Tyson?

Might NEED the one that showed up against Shavers. But once again, Quarry is a guy who could test Mikes resolve. And if he could put doubt in Mike's mind, that makes a difference.
Very few fighters is Tyson's early run of the table were "granite psyches" like many of the fighters in the 60's and 70's. He feasted on having everyone see him as he saw himself...indestructible. But some of the bulls from the old days would not have bought that story, Jerry is one of them. Bonavena another, Frazier and Ali as well. Let's toss Chuvalo in there.
I don't see him rocketing up the charts in those days. He'd just be another tough hombre.

I cannot see Jerry Quarry beating the great Mike Tyson. Tyson would be too strong.

For me Mike destroyed him in early rounds.

Jerry Quarry was one tough son of a bitch, probably one of the toughest fighters that has ever laced up the gloves. He had a granite chin and was predominately stopped on cuts so I reckon he will get stopped by the faster, more aggressive Tyson on cuts with a crimson all over his face and the ring.

Poor old Jerry would get smashed to be pieces... But he would land a few of his own, no doubt... But he has no chance of winning this.

Tyson KO 5 or 6. Quarry's tough, but completely outclassed here.
