On a similar note to the threads that have started, what is the funniest or best post fight interview you have heard. Some guys are brilliant fighters but do not like (or not used to) the camera's.

My favourite has to be Steve Robinson when he captured the WBO title, clearly the magnitute of the achievement hadn't set in and he was very nervious. Channel five showed the interview (with the fight) a few nights ago and its still funny.

The best non-boxing one has to be the Welsh dart player Richie Burnett when he beat Andy Fordham in the semi finals of the Embassy (which he went on to win). It was a thrilling match which went to the wire.

Dougie Donnelly (I think) asked "What you think Andy will be feeling".

Richie "Oh he'll be alright, we're good mates, I've slept with him!" I think he meant roomed with him.

cannot remember who Naz had just beaten, but Kevin Kelley was ringside and they had a really funny interview together

It was the Jose Baddilo fight - "I'm gonna smoke your boots".

Steve Robinson was also unintenially funny in his post fight interview after losing to Hamed.

He was trying his best not to fight the tears, but looking very depressed.

The interviewer said "You and Hamed echanged words at the end, what did he say".

Robinson .... Long pause "You know, he said like I'm hard" - It was the way he said it (with tears) that made it memorable but also funny.

When Herbie lost to Kulikauskas in his last fight, just the number of times he brought up how he was living in Lennox Lewis and Frank Bruno's shadow, 'now their gone I wanted to come out and shine.'

Sky interviewer: Chris, how do you rate the other super middleweights?

Eubank: I refuse to answer that question.

Sky: Ok, thanks Chris, good fight...

Eubank: Wait! You didn't ask where I rate myself!

Sky: ......where do you rate yourself Chris?

Eubank: I refuse to answer that question.

Not an interview, but Steve Holdsworth's commentary makes me laugh. He literally wings it, and clearly has no researcher to help him. The other day on a live show he was describing Dominick Guinn as the best heavyweight prospect in the world. The weekend before, Guinn had been knocked off his perch by Monte Barrett.

This wasn't an interview but I remember after one of Riddick Bowes fights as he left the ring he saw Lennox Lewis doing some TV commentry and decieded to confront him.

They started having a stand up slanging match.

I thought it was quite funny.

"Come on then Chicken Bowe, lets go!"

Howard Cowsell " Well may I say youre being rather truculent"

Ali "Well, whatever that means, if it's good, I'm that"

Tyson after the Ettiene fight- 'I broke my back. My back, it's broken'

Mayweather after he beat Castillo for the second time went off on an analogy about sheep and Larry Merchant simply replied 'What are you talking about?'...cracked me up.

here are loads hard to think off the top of my head, a few have been mentioned.

i dunno, just a crazy quote, cos if he back was anything like broken he wouldn't be able to stand up straight.

I have no idea who he'd just beaten (Rocky Kelly? - probably wrong) but Kirkland Laing was getting interviewed by, I think, Harry Carpenter.

Jamaican patois/accents weren't as common then on telly and were non-existent in the north-east where I grew up. Kirkland was totally hyped and I could hardly understand anything he said except:

"Ah 'it 'im 'aaaaaaaaaarrrd!" and "Ah was cooooooool, man!"

The interviewer couldn't make head nor tail of him either.

It wasn't funny, but it stands out.....Julius Francis was being interviewed by Adam Smith after beating Scott Welch when Scott leant over and interrupted the interview to announce his retirement. Adam Smith seemed like the proverbial rabbit in headlamps and as I recall blurted out 'thanks for the memories Scott' in between embarassed pauses.

It's usually pretty funny when fighters bait one another before fights, i remember after Johnny Nelson KO'd Dirk Wellyn on a Hamed undercard he and Carl Thompson exchanged a little war of words when Ingle wouldn't let Thompson speak.

Talking of stupid comments did anyone hear Glenn McCrory's good one during Macklin-Dixon tonight

"Dixon has damaged his eye and it is running into his eye"
