BoxRec

Did a bit of research into the BoxRec European standings to see how us Brits compare to the rest of Europe. I know Boxing isn't a team sport but I am proud of our boxing history and tradition. I'm also aware that BoxRec standings aren't completely accurate but they do give a good idea and, of course, it's only a bit of fun. All results are as of 03/10/13

Top Countries using points system. (30 points for a 1st place fighter, 26 points for 2nd place, 23 points descending down to 1 point for the remaining 23 places)

I was surprised at how far ahead the UK is using the points system. Also France was alot higher than i thought it would be and Germany was a lot lower. Not sure what is going on with Super Flyweight division, only Brits and 2 Belgians make up the 25! As I said, this is just for fun but I think it makes for an interesting read.
