He beat zou shiming in the amateurs at light fly weight apparently !

Might have a few quid on the draw (aka salinas win in everyone else's eyes)

I'm one of those thinking Salinas can cause a "shock"

Lanzas doesnt look very good though to be fair, its easy to look special against a limited opponent. Salinas record looks massively padded with a fair ko ratio. Im expecting quigg to stop him, he looked powerful against munroe who is a is a decent level opponent.

I can see Quigg being too big for him, similar to Jason Booth. He was fighting at flyweight as a fully grown man as an amateur and has gone up in weight as a pro. Quigg is a big super bantamweight and has fought at a higher level.

On the flip side he was held to a draw by Nehomar Cermeno in Cermeno's adoptive Panama, certainly a tougher test than Munroe IMO.

i think salinas will beat quigg and will defo be backing him at 10/3
quigg has been on the floor allot against average fighters
quigg is no where near as good as frampton

Salinas will be a real test for Quigg. His pro record is a bit padded but his Am record certainly isn't. Over 300 wins and 4 Cuban national titles by all accounts and they dont give those away. I've also been told he is very much here to win. I still think Quigg will just be to big and determind.

He's been down twice in his career and will be far bigger than Salinas in the ring. Tony Bellew has been down more, would you say he was chinny?

Robbed, I knew quigg was not world class .that was a bad decision in my opinion. I think him and kilo would be a good fight next

whatever happens next, quigg's done his hard 12 rds and that can be beneficial to a fighter, enormously.

Quigg clearly won the last 5 and there were a couple of the earlier ones which I favoured for him.

Don't get me wrong it was close but the word robbery does not belong here.

It wasn't quite a robbery but it was a very generous decision toward Salinas; I had Quigg winning 116-113 and really couldn't see much route to make it any closer to that. Beyond which, I thought Salinas was a right whiny little git - every time he got tagged he turned toward the referee and started to complain!

Completely agree, this is boxing not football. Didn't enjoy watching that.

Quite - The lad walked in with a protector that came up to his navel and then complained in the second round at a shot that hit bare flesh!

Thing is, with him trning away like that, you could well see a punch knocking him over and Quigg getting into trouble for no reason...

About the 2nd or 3rd round he got hit with a body shot and I thought it was over as he dropped his gloves don't know if he was hurt or what, but he seemed very tough.

I had Quigg winning, the bloke I was replying to was making out that Salinas was robbed.

I also found Salinas horrible to watch.

I'm glad there isn't a load of people on here claiming Quigg was lucky etc an hailing Salinas, only the 1 guy obviously is and he's probably a Frampton fan.

I had Quigg winning by 1 round simply because I scored the 4th rd even. Neither did anything in the rd to win it and even though I am a fan of Quigg I think I scored it pretty fair overall.

There's a lot of people else where on social media sites for example saying otherwise but that is to be expected when there's a good Framton following in the UK and Ireland.

Who do people think wins between Quigg and Frampton out of interest? Wanted to see that fight for a while now but I am patient and it is building nicely!
