Shavers WTKO 5-9.

Two big punching brutes with questionable stamina; the difference being that Shavers was a world class puncher, whereas Bruno never even floored a world class opponent, let alone knocked one out.
Bruno would lose in his usual fashion; lolling on the ropes, stamina depleting fast as he is put under pressure & the referee having to step in to save him in about 4 rounds.

I think Shavers stops Bruno in the 5th or 6th round. Would be a wild one while it lasted though.

I agree Shavers to win this. On the other hand, I think Coetzee counts as a world class KO.

Shavers had terrible stamina. Bruno in 8.

You are 100% predictable in always giving the win to the man from the more modern era, even when the opponent is the hardest puncher in heavyweight history, and the modern man is known for his poor punch resistance. And it's not like Bruno's stamina down the course was exactly stellar. Neither, of course, would be able to compete with Carl Thompson.

I don't think it would be a "wild one". There isn't one instance in Brunos career where he fought recklessly or was engaged in a Lyle-foreman type dragged out war.Bruno was a front runner who boxed well behind a jab and very good if not elite level he power. I see this as similar to bugner-shavers.shavers catches him around 4-5 and Bruno is out on his feet

It's a back-and-forth war until Frank stops Earnie around the 9th round.

Bad style matchup for Bruno; Shavers by knockout in the early to middle rounds.

Shavers stamina against Cobb looked highly suspect.
