British bookies William Hill have shortened Corrie Sanders to 10/3 from 5/1 for tonight's WBC heavyweight title shootout with Vitali Klitschko in Los Angeles after a flood of betting from British punters.
The big-punching South African is also a tantalising 22/1 to end matters in the opener, 18/1 to win in the second and 25/1 to finish Klitschko in the third.

I like Sanders and I want him to win. That's why I'm sticking money on Vitali. Head not heart.

There's a reason for that – Vitali had never boxed a Lewis and Sander's isn't a Lennox Lewis. Big brother Klitschko is a good fighter, a decent heavyweight.

true but lennox was terrible that night and still won. Sanders has a good chance IMO, too many people are writing him off. i think hes vitalis only real threat left

Sanders looks fat to me, I don't think he's trained that hard, and I think he's going to fold within 6 rounds after getting a right shooing.
I think this fight is going to be a major letdown.
However at 22/1 against Sanders winning by 1st round KO, I'm having a 5ver on it.

Wouldn't pay too much attention to Sander's shape, he looked like that when he ko'd Wlad.
Think he'll use exactly same tactics: back away from Vitali, then look to land the fast left counter as Klitsch steps in. Will he take it better than Wlad? I think he will - one big right and it's lights out for the Afrikan I reckon.
Might be a one rounder this one. I got a bet on Sanders last week - but I aint too hopeful.

True but that was only through two one sided rounds, it wil be interesting to see how he lasts if the fight goes late if he is in similar shape.

I think I've gone for Vitali in 4 or 5 in the prediction league...........any longer though and I will be shocked.
Vitali's chin has held up so far and though Sanders is a big puncher he isn't so great with his own whiskers. As we saw when he fought the rock a few years back. Great fight if I remember correctly.
