I don't know what you guys were watching but I was impressed, nice speed, crisp shots, decent footwork. How can anyone judge his defence after that, he didn't have anything coming back at all!

Hard to say about his power too, as there was no measuring stick loss on Leo's record or anything to suggest what Leo's punch resistance is like. I reckon Joshua hits hard enough, but we'll see in future fights what he has.

Over hype making out that He's the only hope for British heavyweight boxing.. Impressive debut but a amateur with his record should be going straight in at British title level!! Obviously the Tyson and Hughie Fury are not recognised as British. Hughie would beat Joshua I believe. Impressive performance but these excellent amateurs need to up there game in my opinion

his power doesn't look to be in the same class as david price or david haye as he often hit the italian with full force without doing that much damage but I would not say that he is a bad puncher.

his defense is still a little shaky sometimes but not terrible. he will tighten it up I guess.

on the positive side he is technically very mature for his age and height. he is not a wild swinger like deontay wilder. if he tightens his defense ands keeps working out hard he can become a very good champion even if he is not an elite puncher like price.

well he doesn't seem to have huge one punch power but he still stopped an unbeaten fighter after 2 minutes. let's not act like the struggled today. he had a good debut that ended like a debut should (1st round KO).

How do we know he lacks power? Leo may well have had a good chin for all we knew about him

He was fighting a undefeated guy who hadn't fought outside of Italy and was several levels below him.. I was impressed with what he done but both him And Luke Campbell should be fighting at domestic level. Both excellent amateur pedigree don't need those fights.. Campbell should be test someone the Scotty Cardle or Maxi Hughes.. Joshua should be in with Towers or Rogan

Your right he did stop an unbeaten guy, but what does that really tell us? He beat a guy who was effectively a cruiserweight (look at prior weights) who little was known about.

I called it cynical when it was made and still believe it to be so. It'd have been better to see him in with a British journeyman so we could actually find out about him against some one we all know about...

I actually think they should feed him at least 5-6 more bums (pereferably within a few months without big breaks in between) before he steps up. that will build up his confidence and also his KO record.

the klitschkos and tyson did that too and it didn't hurt them. of course he shouldn't do that for years like wilder but knocking out some bums for half a year has never hurt anyone. moving one too fast has.

bloody tough audience I thought he did great, only had a handful of amateur fights so hes still getting better, give the man a chance!

you just have to watch the fight there was no snap in his right hand. He may turn out to be heavy handed but he is not a concussive puncher. I'm hoping thats a technical issue rather than a physical one we will find out. Its wasnt a debut in the same league as agogos. Dont want to take anything away from the lad he did his job well but all this talk about the next big heavy weight hope is far too premature, and it highlighted a major issue.
